Windows 8 latest build number revealed

The build of Windows 8 that was shown Wednesday in Microsoft's latest blog was 8165 but the operating system is currently on build 8176, according to the latest inside information.

Windows 8 latest build number revealed
On Wednesday, Microsoft posted up their latest Windows 8 developers blog entry which showed a video of Windows 8 running on a touch screen device. Part of the video showed a Windows 8 desktop which was masked off. Now someone has uncovered what Microsoft masked off in that video, showing that the build number for Windows 8 in that demo was in fact Build 8165.fbl_fun_resp.111205-2000. The screenshot originally appeared on the Mydigitallife.com forums.
