On December 11, I got an email addressed to “Dear MSN Butterfly.” Well, that caught my attention, so I read on. After reading a bit, I found out that I had been selected to beta test the next version of MSN Messenger (now called Windows Live Messenger). Well, I thought this was a nice way to start the Christmas season, and waited rather impatiently to get the download.
