pci.sys missing or currupt?
Posted by Mr.Guvernment HUH! well, yeah, i was using ym computer fine last night, (@ work now) and then today when i go to turn it on, i get "c:\windows\systems32\pci.sys" is missing or currupt. This happened to me here @ work as well a few times with an old mobo, i got a new mobo here, and it happened once agin. Now it is doing it on my home comp. I tried boot'n in safe mode nadda. i now got to do a repair, but i was curious as to why my computer would suddenly do this? And it ahs happened to me on 2 totally different systems... Any idea's? (So far i am not liking having Nvidia with an Asus mobo + XP, as i have had nothing but problems.) |
