"about:Blank" and CWS Hijack PLEASE HELP!!!
Posted by thymios Make sure that you turn the system restore off since the malware copies itself there every time there is a system backup and also boot in SAFE MODE so that no lame processes are running that might copy themselves again after deleting the files. Then simply run ALL the above programs starting with Ad-aware SE(that's a new version that you can get it from lavasoft and it includes removal of browser hijack) and then hijackthis and spybot. A friend had the same problem and after running the above i got rid of it completely. |
