Could anyone tell me how to enable/disable the auto insert notification of CDs on W2K? (i.e. the key on the registry I have to change).

I've found the solution myself. The key in question was:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom] Value Name: Autorun Data Type: REG_DWORD Data: (0=disable, 1=enable)

Check the exact same question in "Hardware" and there you have another answer if you dont want to hack into the registry. /Turbo Grunkamoj

Well, believe it or not, it makes part of the user policies, activated under the Active Directory.... I haven't found them in any other place, but a friend of mine told me he disabled them Manageing the computer, under the storage section, Removable Media, Phisical Location, Drive Properties, and babbled something about enabling libraries and performing inventory on failure.....I didn't understand a word, see if you can catch something out from what I said.
