Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has seen the following done:

Like most computer "g33kz" I collect old components... Anything I can get my hands on, I have a surplus of bits that I've assembled into various machines. I don't have cases for them though. What I do have is a roomy computer desk, its made out of Fibre board and malamine(plastic coat) I want to stick a board and some fans into the drawers of the desk. I was thinking that I could bore some shallow holes into the base of the draws and glue some plugs to hold the mobo in place. Other than the dust, which I can sort out with a filter gauze the only problem I can see is that the PSU won't be grounded to anything. can anyone clarify that I won't set my house on fire if I stick everything on a piece of wood?
