Barnes & Noble NOOK app for Windows 8.1 gets a major update

From Neowin:
Barnes and Noble released the NOOK app for Windows 8 last year and have updated the app with many features since then. The new update which was introduced with Windows 8.1 makes use of the new features introduced in the Windows update. It includes search improvements such as an app-wide search and a streamlined results page. It now supports importing ePub and PDF files from "My PC" and SkyDrive which are automatically added to the current reading collection. Library organization has been tweaked for a better experience and discovery. The app now supports the new snap view introduced in Windows 8.1 with the ability to better adapt to screen orientation on different screen sizes. The app now supports interactive magazines as well.

Other small changes include the new tile sizes, in-app feedback option and improved sync across other devices using the NOOK app.
