Windows 2000 DataCenter Closer To Delivery

The final version of Windows 2000 DataCenter Server, which supports clustering for failover of four servers, each housing a maximum of 32 CPUs and 64 Gbytes of memory, is scheduled for release by the end of September. It´s Microsoft´s bid to gain market share from Unix vendors looking to run compute-intensive tasks such as managing large database systems and running high-traffic E-commerce sites.
