Penstar Systems has posted an interview with Peter Wicher/3Dfx Interactive.

1. With the V5 6000 there is an external PS dubbed "Voodoo Volts", will Voodoo Volts work in tandem with the AGP power, possibly a single VSA-100 powered from the AGP power and the other 3 VSA-100 chips only receive Voodoo Volts power when needed or will the Voodoo Volts be the complete power supply to the card bypassing any need for the AGP power?

To have the board work in the most efficient manner, all the VSA-100s will utilize power from Voodoo Volts. If it is not plugged in, the card will not work. This is the most reliable design and we think the easiest for the end users.
