Mods4ME has put up a mod article for the Abit KR7A motherboard

We cover the Vcore, IO and Vmem voltage mods.

To modify the CPU voltage you will need to modify the very common HIP6301 IC chip. This chip is very common in boards today. The factory specs for this chip are for controlling voltage in 25mV steps from 1.100v to 1.850v. As all of us overclockers know everything is capable of a bit more than what the factory specs say.

Is your RAM not quite doing the kinds of speeds you want? Do you hate having to turn a lot of those tweaks off to increase your clock speed? Increasing the amount of voltage going to your memory chips is a very good way to run it faster than it's normally capable of.
