ALive! has put up a patch for the SBLive! to enable AC-3 passthrough in Windows 2000.

You must have Live!Ware 3 installed. It will overwrite DirectX 8 files with older DirectX files, so please beware. Fortunately, the uninstall feature works and is able to successfully restore the system to the previous state. It has been reported to work for PowerDVD. WinDVD still does not work.
