The Tech Zone has posted a review on the Asus L8400B Notebook

When most people think of Asus, they think motherboard. At least I do. So I was presently surprised to find out they also make notebooks. Not just one or two models but an entire line ranging from ultra light to ultra big and everything in between. The L8400B falls into the popular "all in one" catergory. All in one means everything is in the notebook. And I do mean everything.

The L8400B we got for review had a P3-650 with with speed step technology, 128 Meg of RAM, 14.1" screen, 20 Gig hard drive, 8X DVD, V90 modem, 10/100 NIC, 8 Meg AGP video card and a floppy drive. The unit even comes with a damn nice leather carrying case! Measuring 12.2" wide, 10" deep and 1.37 high and weighting in at 6.4 lbs with the battery, the L8400B is ligher, and thinner than most notebooks in the all in one class. It is also one of the most stylish notebook I´ve come across, with its metallic cover and tone paint job.
