t-break has posted a review on the Atlas 10K II Hard Drive

As expected the Atlas 10K II destroyed the Fireball LCT 10. The Random Access Time according to HD Tach is right on for the Atlas 10K II. If you took a look at the drive specs in detail Quantum mentions the average seek is 4.7ms. To get the actual figure add in 3.0ms rotational latency. 4.7ms + 3.0ms = 7.7ms. The 10K II also put out very nice figures when it came to read speeds. Averaging 31126.4 or 31Mbps the 10K II had no problems beating the Fireball LCT 10. Minimum speed wise the 10K II also stayed a good 8Mbps ahead of the LCT 10. The maximum speed the Atlas 10K II put out was also a good deal ahead of the LCT 10. CPU Utilization wise SCSI which is supposed to lighten the load on the CPU did beat its IDE cousin by a slim margin. 9% from the Atlas 10K II vs 11.6% from the LCT 10. Finally burst speed wise the 10K II easily surpassed the LCT 10.
