Dan's Data has posted an tutorial about building an LED caselight

Lots of case modders light up their PCs. They usually do it with neon tubes of one kind or another.

With a small amount of effort, though, you can assemble an LED array that works as well as a neon, is easier to mount, and will last much longer.

I've done just that, and written a tutorial about it.
