Most inkjet printers currently on the market have a primary downside, that being the cost of ink. In the case of Lexmark´s and most HP´s, the ink resides in monolithic cartridges, that include the printheads, which may increase reliability, but definitely drives up the per cartridge cost. Yeah, there are tons of refill kits available, but alot of people are wary of these although I´ve had great success over the years refilling cartridges.
