They simply power off one single hard drive connector. The unit itself is small about 2 CM long and it is 1 cm in diameter, it has a long cord about 50 CM long which is good it lets you position it anywhere in your case, which makes life a lot easier and you can also neatly mount the cabling round the case with zip ties.
