Steelseries Ikari Optical Gaming Mouse Review
Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Steelseries Ikari Optical Gaming Mouse

With the exception of the size and the overly bright indicator LEDs, this is a very sound product. To spice up the pot a bit more, the price is also very reasonable for a high quality optical mouse. If you are used to large mice and want more of the same then don't hesitate to give the Ikari a look. It is a very solid and comfortable mouse to use, and a sheer joy to game with.

Thermaltake Muse X-Duo Raid Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Thermaltake Muse X-Duo Raid.

If you walk into a computer store today you are met with a large amount of different external storage solutions. It is now possible to expand the storage of your computer quickly and inexpensively without having to open up the computer and installing a hard drive.

The majority of the external hard drives for sale are simple USB-enclosures. While cheap and easy to use, they are in many ways “dumb” as you cannot easily share them on a network or set up permissions. If you want more features you have to be willing to spare some more cash for a NAS (Network Attached Storage) solution. Once something you mainly found in small businesses, NAS-enclosures are now finding their way into regular consumer homes.

The advantage with a NAS-enclosure is that not only do you get the ability to share it easily over a network and can set up permissions for separate users; you often also get access to features like a media server, an html-server and a built-in bittorrent client. A lot of companies have started to release NAS-enclosures. We have tested a few before from Qnap and Synology but today I am reviewing a NAS-enclosure from a company more known for their cases and power supplies: Thermaltake.

The Muse X-Duo RAID (fancy name, isn’t it?) is a NAS that is filled with cool features. The question of course is if Thermaltake are as good as creating a NAS as they are with power supplies and cooling solutions? Keep reading to find out.

Intel Core 2 Duo 45nm Wolfdale vs. 65nm Conroe
TechSpot posted a comparison review between Intel Core 2 Duo 45nm Wolfdale vs. 65nm Conroe

For some time now we've been waiting for Intel to move on to a more efficient and highly hyped 45nm fabrication technology, which was released just last month. The new 45nm Wolfdale line-up includes the E8200 (2.66GHz), E8400 (3.00GHz) and E8500 (3.16GHz) processors that are expected to operate at lower temperatures - and thus reduce fan noise - as well as receive newer SSE4.1 instructions and ship with a larger 6MB L2 cache.

It should not take pages of benchmark results to convince you that the E8500 is a better buy than the E6850 as that clearly is the case. However, those currently in possession of an E6000 series processor or even older Intel or AMD processors, may still be quite interested to see how much faster these new E8000 series CPUs are, and if they are worth upgrading to. The non-race is on then!

Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset Review
TheTechLounge reviewed the Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

People recognize Aliph Jawbo nes in the same way that they easily spot iPhones. These Aliph headsets are loved by those who use them, while everyone else in close proximity of the secret conversation mutters profanity. Showoff, that's what he is, the cockbite with that hundred- dollar Bluetooth headset. "Look at me, I'm Alexander Damn Bell." Aliph talks about the Jawbone like it isn't a
headset. As though it were an idol for worship. And after the rebuking I suffered at the feet of their Cockney representative at CES, I dug in for this review with prejudice.

Intel Skulltrail and Multi-GPU Graphics: Mixed Results
PC Perspective has just published an editorial looking at Intel's upcoming Skulltrail platform and current multi-GPU configurations.

Perhaps the most appealing part of Skulltrail is that it was revealed it would support NVIDIA SLI technology - the first non-NVIDIA chipset motherboard to do so. That is the power of NVIDIA's nForce 100 chips - basically PCI Express bridges with custom NVIDIA logic in them to accommodate SLI configurations. And with the recent release of NVIDIA's 3-Way SLI technology, we were really looking forward to pairing Skulltrail's 8-cores of processing power with 3-Way SLI to overcome any potential bottlenecks for PC gaming. Apparently that will not be an option though.

Razer Lachesis Gaming Mouse Review
3DXtreme.net posted a review on the Razer Lachesis Gaming Mouse.

Well from the moment I pulled the Lachesis from the box I knew this mouse was going to be the one I settled on. Some of the newer mice are too light for me. The Lachesis was weighted more and I favored it right away. I found the layout to be comfortable, more comfortable than the Copperhead in fact. The bump forced my hand to rest on it in a more comfortable position and I liked the fact that the body of the Lachesis was longer. It fit my hand better than both the MX-518 (which I have used for years) and the Razer Copperhead.

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W PSU Review
XtremeComputing posted PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W PSU Review

PC Power and cooling have been around since before I was born, and are one of the oldest and best PSU brands around. It was with their reputation ahead of them that I came to testing their new PSU, the silencer 610W EPS12v. Why EPS and not ATX? Well the EPS is a higher classification standard that ATX is heading towards anyway, it basically means it has to have a 24pin motherboard connector and 8pin 12v aux power to the board/CPU. Don’t worry though as the Silencer is also ATX 12v compliant, so will work if you only have a 4pin aux 12v on your motherboard. Let’s see what treat PCP&C have got for us then.

HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 TurboX Review
TweakTown posted a review on the HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 TurboX

It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from HIS which is a bit of a shame as their IceQ series of cards have been one of the more stand-out models of ATI based graphics cards.

As we mentioned earlier, this particular model not only carries with it an aftermarket cooler but also increased core and memory clocks.

Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset Review
Futurelooks checks out another Bluetooth Headset

There are countless units available from big boys like Motorola and Sony Ericsson. Of course, Plantronics is also up there too as we’ve reviewed one of their headsets (Plantronics Discovery 655) and gave it an Editors Choice. However, a little company based out of San Francisco has a headset that just might have all of them beat. You may not recognize the Aliph name, but you’ve surely heard about their Jawbone Bluetooth headset. After using the headset for a couple of days, I’m inclined to say that the Jawbone is the best Bluetooth headset I have ever used. Yes, ever.
