SilverStone 400 watt ST40EF Power Supply Review
HardwareLogic.com posted a review on the SilverStone 400 watt ST40EF Power Supply

SilverStone opened its doors in 2003 and quickly became known for its stylish and quality system enclosures (that's fancy for "computer cases"). Headquartered in Taiwan, they also have corporate offices in the USA and Germany. Along with diversifying their location, they have diversified their product line. SilverStone sells hard drive enclosures, CPU coolers, system fans and, you guessed it, power supplies! We have one of SilverStone's PSU on the bench today in fact.

SilverStone aims it's Element series PSU's at the budget and efficiency minded. The ST40EF we are reviewing today was first introduced in March 2006 and is certified as an 80+ unit (80% efficiency or greater). Current street prices are as low at $60 USD (and rebates are also available). At that price, they approach the "bargain basement" variety of PSU's we often avoid. Yet, SilverStone has a pretty good reputation in PSUs. Let's see if the ST40EF is "bargain" or "basement".

NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Preview - Palit N78S
TweakTown posted a preview on the NVIDIA GeForce 8200

Since AMD acquired ATI to do its chipset bidding, we haven’t seen much from NVIDIA for the Athlon 64 and Phenom platforms. The first new generation chipset designed by NVIDIA to support the Phenom and Athlon 64 processors has arrived; codenamed the MCP78, it has officially been given the name “GeForce 8200”.

NVIDIA’s main focus here with the GeForce 8200 is Hybrid SLI. This is a new design that has been thought up to combine the power of a discrete graphics card with the extra unused power of the onboard GPU.

Madshrimps posted a review on the Seagate 750GB Recertified Hard Drive

Today a 1000GB hard drive is commonly available for the power users while a few months back 750GB was the largest capacity. Although hard drive failure is low at less than 2 percent, certified repaired hard drive could be had for much less. Geeks.com stocks both new and certified repaired hard drives; and if backing up your data and system are your priorities after HDD failure, a second large capacity HD may be your best friend.

ASE Labs posted a review on the Soyo Topaz S 24" LCD Monitor

SOYO was established around 1999 at the time when computer hardware was easy to list off in your head. Their Dragon series of motherboards were excellent and many enthusiasts employed their boards for computer builds. Today, SOYO is a vastly different company. Gone are the motherboards but SOYO has reinvented itself and now produces displays. They have a partnership with Honeywell for dual branding. Today, we are looking at the Topaz S 24" LCD Widescreen Monitor.

eDimensional AudioFX Pro 5+1 Headset Review
Overclockers Online posted a review on the eDimensional AudioFX Pro 5+1 Headset

For hardcore gamers, eDimensional's AudioFX Pro 5+1 is a must have. It combines the positional sound capabilities of a surround sound system with the precision and noise-isolating power of a headset; the microphone is just an added bonus. Comfort is also an advantage for this headset thanks to its soft leather-like ear cups. All in all, the headset's build seems sturdy. If you can look past the puke-colored color scheme and the gaudy LEDs, the AudioFX Pro 5+1 is a solid product which may very well be worth its high cost.

ZOTAC GeForce 9600GT 512MB AMP! Edition Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ZOTAC GeForce 9600GT 512MB AMP! Edition

But what makes ZOTAC stand out so much with their AMP! line-up is that the clocks they tend to put on these cards are very aggressive and really make it stand out from the competition.

We saw that the 9600GT from Galaxy performed around the same as a HD 3870 with stock clock speeds; with the increased clocks on the ZOTAC AMP! Edition 9600GT we will have to see if it can consistently take the lead.
