Modders-Inc checked out the Cyber Snipa Tracer Mouse Pad

A mouse pad, or mouse mat, is a surface for enhancing the movement of a computer mouse. That is the definition from the Wikipedia encyclopedia on the internet. Now, with that definition in mind, we'll see how a company can enhance the mouse movement. After doing some reading, I found out it could be quite elaborate. The enhancements can range from special surfaces to unique lighting effects. With this review we will be looking at a mouse pad that has both: the Cyber Snipa Tracer Mouse Pad.

Legit Reviews takes a look on the ECS NF650iSLIT-A 650i SLI Motherboard

ECS put together a decent board in the form of the NF650iSLIT-A. It is a board that performs wonderfully at stock settings. As you could see in our testing, the lack of being able to keep tRCD settings for the memory really only hurt performance in a few of our benchmarks. Overall, the board hung with its competition, which is quite a statement since we have it up against the likes of chipsets like the Intel 975x and Nvidia 680i, as well as a proven winner in the Asus 650i board. In fact, it beat out these boards in some of our tests, proving that ECS and this chipset are both to be commended.

Side loading hard drive case, optical drive latches that don't get lost, quiet cooling that works. XYZ Computing has a new article out on the Toshiba Portege M400 Tablet

This review will be looking at Toshiba's Portege M400, their tablet most closely related to the M6. Looking at the two we can see that the two have much in common and despite a few changes to the components (Toshiba uses a number of different SKUs for each model, this being the M400-S4032) there is not much to differentiate one from the other. Despite the M400's seemingly bland exterior (and spec sheet), Toshiba is one the industry's more popular tablet manufacturers. Their upcoming R400 is one of the most highly anticipated tablet PCs ever and other models have strong followings. Up to this point Toshiba has not focused on innovation with their tablets so much as they have price and dependability, as we will see with the M400.

TheTechLounge posted a review on the Altec Lansing iM510 Portable Sansa Speakers

Portable external speakers have become a hot seller in the portable media player arena. Altec Lansing was at the forefront of the personal media player aftermarket and introduced several products for the iPod. Now they've seen it fit to customize a speaker set for the Sansa c200 and e200 lines. And rightly so. These little players are challenging the market share of the iPod Nano and Shuffle and deserve a little respect. Maybe glossy black will make a comeback just as pearly white has become an iconic symbol?

Neoseeker has published a review of Abit's AB9 Quad GT.

The Quad GT proved its mettle during gaming and overclocking benchmarks. While it is becoming increasingly familiar to see other P965 based motherboards get up to still very hard to reach 500MHz bus overclocks, this specific Abit AB9 Quad GT got up to 488x7 976 4-4-4-12, which is a superb result!

CoolTechZone.com posted Motorola RAZR V3xx Phone Review

Motorola knows how to get everything out of a successful product line, as it recently announced another RAZR, the RAZR V3xx. Honestly, hasn’t Motorola had enough? And personally, we think a lot of people are getting over the craze now. Motorola needs to let the RAZR product line die off into the oblivion instead of bringing it back over and again.

Elite Bastards posted HT Omega Claro sound card review

As per the other sound cards we've reviewed recently, the HT Omega Claro has at its heart C-Media's latest 'Oxygen HD' CMI8788 audio processor, giving it the same basic feature set - That being a more powerful DSP than its predecessors, with support for 24-bit, 192kHz playback and ASIO for the professional musicians out there , together with real-time Dolby Digital and DTS encoding as well as other audio upmixing abilities such as DTS Neo:PC and Dolby ProLogic IIx. Eight-channel audio output and other features such as Dolby Headphones and Virtual Speaker are also the order of the day, to give the part an unrivalled feature set.

Much like Auzentech's X-Meridian, HT Omega have opted for a custom PCB layout for the Claro, although it is still closer in the component department to the b-Enspirer in some senses, as we'll see later. The board does however squeeze in more capacitors than Bluegears offering, using solid state capacitors to boot, which could potentially help to improve both audio quality and the longevity of the board. Again, we'll look into just how it fares later on.
