Inno3D GeForce 8800 GT iChill edition Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Inno3D GeForce 8800 GT iChill edition

Since the green hornets from NVIDIA, gives its partners free choice with respect to factory-based pre-overclocking of the G92 '8800 GT 512 SKU the Inno3D GeForce 8800 GT iChill edition Guru3D tests today ships with a significant higher frequency. The card comes with an overclock from reference 600MHz to 700MHz and uses 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1,000MHz (2000 MHz effectively).

Next to that, better cooling, better design and a free game bundled, not a bad one either .. all that at a competitive price ? You betcha

XFX 9600GT XXX SLI Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the XFX 9600GT XXX SLI

When NVIDIA released the G80 core in late 2006 the enthusiast world rejoiced. New levels of image quality were in reach with a single card that used to require two or more. The mainstream market anxiously awaited its share of the G80 love only to be disappointed by the lackluster 8600GT/GTS. Fastforward to last year when the world was given the G92 core. Even more peformance was to be had by enthusiasts willing to shell out the $250 or more it would take to enjoy the pleasure of gaming on a 8800GT/GTS 512. And the mainstream market waited. Only this time things would be a little different. This time the mainsteam market would not take a step back but a huge leap forward, in performance that is, not price. Finally, we were given the card that all of us could afford and not be ashamed to put in our forum sig. The 9600GT from NVIDIA was just that card. Offering levels of performance usually enjoyed by the bigger boys at a price we all can swallow placed this card into unknown territory. As if that wasn't enough XFX got their hands on a few and cranked the heck out of the clocks even further. So I present to you the Alpha Dog 9600GT XXX from XFX. What could be better then having one of these cards in your rig? How about having two!?

ASUS EAH3870 TOP Overclocked Radeon HD3870 Graphics Card Review
Bigbruin.com has posted a review on the ASUS EAH3870 TOP Overclocked Radeon HD3870 Graphics Card

As the big brother to the HD3850 TOP card I expected it to perform about 10-20% better, and in general that is about what it did. It offers solid performance in today's demanding games without draining you of the extreme amount of money that the high end cards will set you back. And while the card may be overkill for the typical home theater setup, it does offer all the features you would want there as well.

Peak Radeon HD3850 & HD3870 Review
InsideHW.com has posted an article about graphics cards Peak Radeon HD3850 and HD3870.

If you are asking yourself, "Who is Peak?" we completely understand you. But, we also want to drive away all your suspicions. Peak is coming from Taiwan and will soon have fifth anniversary. In the past, this manufacturer has been focused on producing memory, mainly flash portable type like USB sticks, memory cards of various types etc. Nowadays, this brand also covers graphic cards with NVIDIA chips and some models with ATI (AMD) R6XX. We have tested two models with R670 chip: Radeon HD3850 and Radeon HD3870, both with 512MB on board memory. PCB of these cards defers from referent model and they are almost identical. We'll start with weaker model, which was a pleasant surprise.".....

CyberLink PowerDVD 8 Review
TweakTown posted a review on CyberLink PowerDVD 8

A few years ago, I had some kind of PC issue where PowerDVD wouldn’t run because there were some conflicting graphics card issues, so I was forced to use rival program Intervideo WinDVD for about 5 minutes; and look, I know many of you guys like it, but I didn’t. So I formatted the PC rather than live without PowerDVD.

So last month I get myself a Blu-ray ROM drive, a Lite-On LH-2B1S to be exact, and I ended up finding a few incompatibilities with a few discs whilst running PowerDVD 7. So I was suitably annoyed. But lo and behold, only a mater of days later I receive a press release from CyberLink announcing PowerDVD 8. Let’s dive in and see what improvements have been made, and if those incompatibilities have been rectified.

Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 GDDR3 512MB Review
PC Perspective posted a review on the Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 GDDR3 512MB

When the Radeon HD 3650 card was first released we were a little underwhelmed by the specifications as it seemed that nothing had been improved upon when compared to the previous, RV600-based HD 2600-series of cards. And in fact that is the case: performance remains mostly the same while power consumption has dropped and thus heat output too. That doesn't make the HD 3650 a home run though as NVIDIA's answers to the card continue to stack up and perform better - the 8600 GTS with half the frame buffer was easily outpacing the Sapphire HD 3650 card with 512MB of GDDR3 memory even when overclocked.

Canary Wireless Digital Hotspotter HS20 Review
I4U NEWS reviews the Canary Wireless Digital Hotspotter HS20.

Today we are looking at a very nice little gadget that will help you get connected to hot spots when you are on the road.

The scanning process took about 10 seconds in my testing to turn up 6 local wireless networks. It is important to note that my notebook only found three of the local networks in its scan. A lock icon displays to show you at a glance if a network is open or closed to public access. If networks the Canary Wireless Digital Hotspotter finds are encrypted it will also tell you what encryption is in use.

Nesteq EECS 700 Watt Ultra Quiet Power Supply Review
3D Game Man posted a review on the Nesteq EECS 700 Watt Ultra Quiet Power Supply

The Nesteq EECS 700 Watt Ultra Quiet Power Supply has all the right ingredients. First and foremost it's got quality, efficient power and enough of it to juice high end computer systems. It also has lots of leads, compact size, ultra quiet 135mm fan and a modular design. This product even comes with EECS or Enhanced Easy Connection System which is on the SATA and molex leads. It's basically a 6pin female connector that allows other cables or adapters to be connected to it. It's a fantastic idea since it can be used to extend the cable length to reach those out of reach places or just to add a floppy power adapter. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Thermaltake Xaser VI Full Tower Case Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Thermaltake Xaser VI Full Tower Case.

Thermaltake is one company that is hard to stay on top of. In the M9 case review last month, I mentioned how it seems like there is always something new coming from those folks. Well here to prove me right is the latest offering in the Xaser class full tower, the VI VG4000 series. Thermaltake calls the Xaser VI a Super Tower, and if the box is any indication of its size, I'd say they're right.

Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler

All its splendor aside, it's a fantastic performer. It's easily the best, most capable cooler to cross this test bench. While it carries over the commonly seen tower design, the performance will easily be the deciding factor for the user who literally wants nothing but the coolest CPU possible. The Noctua NH-U12P is a great performer, it's cool, it's recommended, and it's my current top choice of CPU coolers.

Seagate Momentus 5400.4 250GB 2.5 HDD Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Seagate Momentus 5400.4 250GB 2.5” HDD

Today we have been sent Seagate’s new notebook drive, the Momentus 5400.4. This is the fourth generation of Momentus drives; the last one we managed to have a look at out-pioneered the use of Perpendicular recording methods when it first arrived, proving it could easily handle extra data as well as increase speeds.

Its construction matches that of all other 2.5” drives; it’s light weight so you’re not lugging an extra brick inside your notebook. It runs extremely cool, so not to add to heat which is especially important in the HTPC and notebook market where most of these run with only one fan.

Lian-Li Armorsuit PC-P60 Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Lian-Li Armorsuit PC-P60

The new Lian-Li Armorsuit PC-P60 is a very elaborate case, which is quite different from the understatement shape of their usual enclosures. Three LED fans are built into the very detailed front door and a top airduct guides air out of the case toward the back. Even though the case retails at $269 it offers a lot of premium features justifying the cost.
