Dell XPS 730 H2C Unboxing and Preview
HotHardware.com posted a preview on the Dell XPS 730 H2C desktop

In the last half year, Dell has been busy revamping their entire desktop XPS lineup. First came the XPS 420 late last year, a premium multimedia workstation. Then Dell introduced a new mid-range gaming oriented desktop, the XPS 630 early this year. The 630 is a mid-tower sized gaming desktop styled after the flagship XPS 700 series but with more affordable components and a relatively thrifty price tag. We found the XPS 630 to be an excellent machine in our evaluation.

While these new additions to Dell's desktop XPS lineup were certainly welcome, we hadn't seen a major update to the flagship 700 series in over a year and we were beginning to wonder if Dell would ever get around to it. With the launch of NVIDIA Quad-SLI and AMD Crossfire X configurations, the XPS 720 just wasn't looking as attractive as it once was, considering it is supposed to be Dell's top-end gaming machine. An update was overdue. Today, it's obvious that the folks over at Dell haven't been taking any down-time. Instead they have been busy putting together a major update to their flagship XPS 700 series in the form of the brand new XPS 730 that we have on tap for today...

A quick look at the B2 and you get the feeling that it would be right at home on the tarmac. It has a military feel to it that comes complete with a motorized front panel and interesting interior ducting.

Akasa UV SATA Cable Review
XSReviews has reviewed the Akasa UV SATA Cable

SATA cables aren't the most interesting of products in the computer sector and most motherboard manufacturers bundle them as freebies. However, some SATA cables are said to increase airflow, provide better cable management and offer better transfer speeds, but is any of this true? Well today I have a UV blue Akasa Serial ATA cable for review, so let's find out.

Thermolab Micro Silencer CPU Cooler LGA775 Review
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the Thermolab Micro Silencer CPU Cooler LGA775

Today I'm taking a look at the Thermolab Micro Silencer CPU cooler, it's a small cooler that incorporates fins and heatpipes to help cool your CPU. It's actually smaller then the Intel Stock CPU Cooler, making it attractive for people that are space limited in their cases. Despite its size though, it performs very well, even when compared to tower style coolers that are twice, or even three times its size.

Vizo Mini Ninja Notebook Cooler Review
OCC has published a new review of the Vizo Mini Ninja Notebook Cooler

The Vizo Mini Ninja is a small and portable way to cool your laptop, which is a haven for heat. While the benefits that the Vizo Mini Ninja provide aren't as varied as some other coolers, it does do its primary job well. In my testing, it actually helped reduce the CPU and GPU load temperatures further than any of the other laptop coolers I have tested. Not just 1 degree Celsius but by 3 on the CPU and 2 on the GPU. A pretty strong cooling performance.

Nexus XiR-3500 Copper Edition CPU Cooler Review
DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Nexus XiR-3500 Copper Edition CPU Cooler

The XiR-3500 is quite a beefy sized copper heatsink with 4 massive heatpipes that can be seen on the one side. It has a rather unique fin design with an even more unique open fan styling as well. With claims of operating from noise levels as low as 15dBA, I'm enthused to see just how well this unique design will perform.

Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer Heatsink Review
FrostyTech posted a review on the Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer Heatsink

The Sunbeamtech Company is best known for its 'flashy' cases and PC accessories, but under the brand Tuniq it has released CPU thermal solutions like the popular Tower 120. Today Frostytech is testing out one of the new breed of direct heatpipe contact coolers that are sweeping the industry; the Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer heatsink. Sunbeamtech's heatsink stands 143mm tall, is 125mm across and accommodates one "silent" 120mm Magnetic Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan that spins at 1,000~2,000 RPM.

Aqua Computer Aquaduct 360 XT Water Cooling System Review
PC Perspective posted a review on the Aqua Computer Aquaduct 360 XT Water Cooling System

There was a time when water cooling was the sexiest thing you could do to your computer but as DIY-systems became more and more commoditized, that allure has faded. Aqua Computer is revitalizing "the sexy" in your PC cooling configuration by included new hardware and software controllers for an advanced external water cooling system.

The Aqua Computer Aquaduct 360 XT is an external water cooling system that is designed to sit beside your computer. It is powered from the host PC and communicates with it via USB. The embedded Aquaero display and control device allows monitoring and controlling virtually every water cooling
system parameter when used with the bundled Aquasuite software.

Asus EEE PC running on Windows XP Review
InsideHW.com has posted an article about Asus EEE PC running on Windows XP

Asus made an effort and delivered very good and useful manual with EEE PC. In manual you can find detail description of how to install XP and how to customize it for best performance. By customizing we mean how to turn off all those unnecessary, by our opinion, Windows services which take up 4 GB on SSD (for example "System Restore" service). Average installation of WinXP Pro SP2 should occupy around 1.5 GB, exact same amount like our installed OS takes. To be honest, this could be reduced if you use nLite program.

Diamond's Radeon HD 3870 1GB Video Card reviewed
The Tech Report posted a review on Diamond's Radeon HD 3870 1GB Video Card

What happens when you take a Radeon HD 3870 graphics card and slap a gig of memory on it? That is the question of the hour, since our subject is Diamond's new card with just such a configuration. The Radeon HD 3870 has established itself as a pretty decent option among mid-range graphics cards, although it's squeezed by formidable competition from Nvidia. Could doubling up on video memory allow the 3870 to distinguish itself from the likes of the GeForce 9600 GT and GeForce 8800 GT? We decided to find out.

Bgears b-Envi MicroATX Case Review
OCC has published a new review of the Bgears b-Envi MicroATX Case

The Bgears b-Envi MicroATX was extremely fun to test because it kept surprising me with it's features. First of all, how cool is it to have LED touch buttons for your front panel? They are responsive buttons that beep when you touch them so that you know that the touch was registered. Also, the buttons are lockable so that you don't accidentally hit one of the buttons and turn off your computer by mistake. The case only weighs eight pounds before you put the components inside of it, and even after the components are installed, this case is still rather light. I will definitely be bringing this case to LAN parties.

MSI GX600X TurboBook Review
TweakTown posted a review on the MSI GX600X TurboBook

Introducing the all new, very loud and proud GX600X TurboBook from MSI. Clearly unlike any other notebook you would have seen from them in the past, it looks as if it would be better suited to ‘nitro crew’ outfitting hotrods with digitized tune-ups. The sleek glossy black coating is aimed to catch the eye, while the top cover is emblazoned with a superman style logo in an equally loud fashion.

In particular, this GX600X top of the line notebook is a peak performer, with excellent overclocking capabilities as well as lots and lots of features and peripherals; from e-SATA or HDMI connectivity to a special ‘Turbo’ button that we found gives a 20% increase in processor speed. The Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are as to be expected from a high-end notebook, whereas the graphics are truly magnificent in such a small platform.

Hiper Type R Mk-II 680W power supply w/ USB HUB Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Hiper Type R Mk-II 680W power supply w/ USB HUB

One PSU that certainly will catch your attention as well is the one we'll be testing for Hiper (High Performance group) today. It's their beefy 680Watt Type RII 680 Watt PSU. A product that costs roughly 120-130 bucks. This PSU immediately will catch your attention die to it's original packaging, the extremely 'out there' paint job and then .. when you look at the front side of the PSU, you'll spot 8 USB connectors. And all that is it next to being an actual PSU.

Another advantage, despite the fact that the PSU is rated 680 Watts it can actually peak at 890 Watt, and actually is s more energy friendly product.
