Antec P193 Case Review
Hi Tech Legion posted Antec P193 Case Review

The Antec P193 is just the case I have been talking about. The P193 by Antec is designed to take care of the small things while still looking sophisticated. The P193 has been designed with layered construction and silicone grommets for the bays to reduce noise from the case. The Antec P193 can hold up to seven fans for maximum cooling and air movement through the P193. And the Antec P193 has been designed not only to hold a standard PSU, but also Antec's own CP series like the reviewed CP-850. The Antec P193 also features an external 200mm fan, so you get both maximum cooling and space for your components. Also, the Antec P193 has had several filters put in place to reduce the amount of dust and debris that sneak their way in to the average case. The P193 features a dual chamber system to keep the PSU and motherboard components separate and reduce the heat in each compartment.

Asus Xonar Essence STX Review
OCC has published a new review of the Asus Xonar Essence STX

The noise level is very low for all soundcards, but the lead is taken by the Xonar cards, the Essence STX beating the rest of the pack. This trend continues until we get to Stereo Crosstalk, where the modded X-Fi XtremeMusic has better stereo separation from about 2 kHz upwards. In the 24-bit, 96 kHz tests, the modded X-Fi XtremeMusic has a strange rolloff at the audible frequency extremes, whereas the Xonar Essence STX has a much truer, flatter response. Again, the Stereo Crosstalk is the only test where the modded X-Fi beats the Essence STX, and it's only at frequencies above ~2 kHz.

ECS GeForce GTS 250 1GB Graphics Card Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ECS GeForce GTS 250 1GB Graphics Card

We've liked the GTS 250 from the word go. While we understand that it's nothing more than a 9800 GTX+, it's got all the features that we want out of a graphics card. For starters, we know that the performance is there; the 9800 GTX+ was no slouch which means the GTS 250 isn't going to be either.

Then there's the price. The rebranding of the model and the time it's been around makes the price of the product quite aggressive which is always a good thing. What you end up with is a good valued graphics card that packs quite a punch.

4-Way SSD Round-Up Redux, OCZ, Corsair, Kingston, SuperTalent
HotHardware posted a SSD round up

The SSD market is incredibly hot at the moment. Not only is there a consistent influx of new products that seemingly leapfrog the previous generation in nearly every way, but already established products have been treated to firmware updates that enhance their performance and capabilities as well.

Over the course of the last few months, we rounded up a number of solid state drives and featured products from Intel, OCZ, and others independently. Ultimately, we found that Intel's X25-M series of drives was the current kingpin in terms of overall performance, but since our initial look, a slew of new drives have hit the market and Intel has updated the X25-M's firmware to eliminate a potential performance degradation issue. Due to all of the recent activity in the SSD space, we thought it was a good time to round-up another assortment of solid state drives to get a better feel for the current landscape.

Thermaltake ToughPower XT 850W PSU Review
Driverheaven posted a review on the Thermaltake ToughPower XT 850W PSU

It has been more than a year since Thermaltake diversified into the power supply market. We reviewed a few of their mainstream supplies back then and found them to be competitive and appealing products. Today we will have a look at a PSU from their latest high performance series, the Toughpower XT 850W. Thermaltake designed the Toughpower XT series with enthusiasts in mind and the result is a very interesting product with a massive 12V line and a very long range of features. That said, the power output and retail price pit it against the very best products currently available. We will soon see if it has what it takes to compete with the rest of the products of its class.

Cooler Master HAF922 Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Cooler Master HAF922.

Cooler Master has been quite busy lately with all these new cases. So far, three new mid tower cases have been released, the Sniper, Scout, and now the HAF 922. The HAF 922 is the little brother of the HAF 932. The HAF series has been specifically designed to include large fans to keep noise down, but still move a ton of air. The HAF 932 certainly did not disappoint in that regard. One can certainly say that the Cooler Master HAF 932 is one of the best cases for moving air without being a blow dryer. Cooler Master has set the bar high from the start. The HAF 922 has to prove it can move a ton of air while still being very compact.

The compactness should not be a automatic shun from enthusiasts. Cooler Master has not forgotten about you! They have impressively made enough room at the top of the case to be able to house a dual 120mm radiator for a liquid cooling system. This is a welcome surprise from such a small case. Just from looking at the case, I can feel it's going to be great. Now, let's get on to testing this thing out.

Gigabyte EG45M-UD2H motherboard review
The Guru of 3D posted Gigabyte EG45M-UD2H motherboard review

Mainstream my dear gurus, is a very big market. It is also a market where true value is to be found.

This G45M motherboard is based on a Micro ATX form factor. Normally this doesn't leave much room for extras. The motherboard tested today however comes with UD3 technology, that G45 chipset, integrated GPU, HDMI, 8-channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, plenty of SATA connectors, fairly nice design, 4 DIMM slots, dual-bios, passive cooling .. and all that on a m-ATX form factor design.

Let's have a peek at what Gigabyte is offering us for just over 100 EUR, oh yeah .. and it overclocks quite well too.

iXBT Labs posted a review on Phenom II Processors and DDR3 Memory

Many reviewers and interested users said that it made no sense to upgrade from DDR2 to DDR3. So it must be really hard for the new memory type to justify its existence, even if there are some technical prerequisites for it already. We decided to publish a thorough analysis of the situation.

OCZ Neutrino DIY Netbook Review
I4U News published a review of the OCZ Neutrino DIY Netbook.

A while back OCZ unveiled its Neutrino DIY netbook. The machine is sold less storage, RAM, and an OS leaving those components for the buyer to add. Netbooks have become increasingly popular in part due to their low price; the Neutrino lacks a few key components, but is cheap considering you get the same hardware you find inside most netbooks today.

NZXT Sentry LX Fan Controller Review
OCModShop checked out the NZXT Sentry LX Fan Controller

A couple of decent fans to push the air through is more than sufficient on most systems. Some of us, however, require much more to keep things cool while we put our computers through the gauntlet. The only problem is that many motherboards only have one or two places to plug your typical 3-prong fan. Three at most. And then you are limited to a single speed or whatever the motherboard decides is best. YOU control the computer, not the other way around. That's where the NZXT Sentry LX comes in. Time to show your computer who the biatch really is.
