XSReviews has reviewed the Revoltec Rhodium case

Revoltec chose a rather unique name for their company, and their cases also have a rather unique look. We've seen the Zirconium, and today I have the Rhodium continuing their naming scheme for elements. The Rhodium has similar looks to the Zirconium with the trademark top triangular I/O plate and the large front panel. Let see how it performs.

BIOS Magazine published a review on the Netgear ReadyNAS NV+

Netgear consistently produces high-quality networking devices, but the company has been dragging its feet in the network attached storage (NAS) market. Thankfully, all is about to change. The ReadyNAS NV+ is the
first product to hit the market since Netgear's acquisition of privately-held Infrant Technologies earlier this year. The ReadyNAS NV+ is powered by Infrant's proprietary network storage processor, Linux-based RAIDiator operating system and patent-pending Expandable Protection (X-RAID) technology, which allows for automatic RAID volume expansion as additional drives are added. Not only that, but the device looks fantastic thanks to its robust aluminium enclosure and Power Mac G5 front grill.

DragonSteelMods posted a review on a USB powered refrigerator from USBGeek

I don't know about you but when I'm working I'll get a can of pop or soda out of the fridge and usually it sits there and gets warm, kinda sucks to drink warm soda doesn't it? Well USBGeek sent me over a product that can help us out with that, it's a USB powered refrigerator, and it resembles an old fashioned refrigerator, imagine that right? Anyway, it's kinda cool and it really does work to keep your soda from getting warm and yucky....

Hardwarecanucks posted a review of OCZ's PC2-6400 Platinum 2GB Ram kit

This kit has amazing visuals, and it performs very well for the price. OCZ includes a great warranty with these as well as their always - dependable customer support. On the flip side, these modules do not respond in any way, shape or form to higher voltages. Anything above 2.25V for CL4 and 2.2V for CL5 would cause the test computer to crash upon startup. This kit held its ground and reputation when proving to be stable at DDR2-1002, 4-4-4-12 with only 2.25V. There is no need to run a fan above these modules, seeing as they did not heat up too much through several of the vigorous tests (Thanks to the XTC technology).

The Guru of 3D posted a review on the PC2 9200 2 GB Dual-Channel Reaper kit from OCZ

Here Guru3D.com will review PC2 9200 2 GB Dual-Channel Reaper kit from OCZ, with a 1142 MHz clock frequency and some pretty okay timings a very interesting kit to have in your uber-powered and overclocked enthusiast PC. the concept is simple and effective .. the fastest DDR2 memory that money can buy with an attractive to the eyes (and effective) cooling method. To make that concept a little more appealing a product always needs a good marketing spin e.g. series name and OCZ figured.. let's call it Reaper memory.

Lunapark6 published an in-depth review on VMware Fusion 1.0 for MacOS X

Roughly one year ago VMware announced that they would release a version of their popular virtualization software for the OS X platform. Since that time they have steadily released beta’s versions of Vmware Fusion and with each release seen continual improvements. Now after a year of heavy development the company has pulled back the curtains and unveiled VMware Fusion 1.0.

Although VMware are the leaders in virtualization software for Windows/Linux/BSD computing platforms, they are playing a game of catchup with Parallels for the OS X platform. I have personally used Parallels since the their early beta period and found it to be an indispensable tool for my MacBook. I did briefly try an early beta version of Vmware Fusion, but found it too unstable for daily use. With that stated I have had the opportunity to use the final product and yes it was impressive.

DragonSteelMods takes a look at the Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound

There are many companies out there today making thermal compounds and vying for your dollars. At one point the best was Arctic Silver, but some of these other companies are pushing them out of that top spot, and let's face it you can't be on top forever. With all the choices out there today, besides obviously performance, what is the final deciding factor on which to purchase? The price? The quantity? Or other special features. Today for review I've got a new entry into the thermal compound arena called MX-2, and it's from Arctic Cooling, a company that is highly respected for it's quality and the performance of their products. So I decided to put it up against the top dog, Arctic Silver 5 and see just how it fares...

3D Game Man posted a review on the Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case

If you're in the market for a very well constructed, thick aluminum mid-tower case, than the Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Case is for you. With four external 5.25" drive bays, one external 3.5" drive bay and 6 internal drive bays, there lots of places to install drives. Although the front HDD cage which houses up to four HDDs does hinder air circulation. Speaking of air circulation, there are two 92mm fans at the front of the case and one 120mm fan at the back of the case. Since it is a mid-tower case there isn't a lot of room to work, but the motherboard tray is removable. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Gamepyre posted a review on SpaceForce: Rogue Universe for the PC

For the average Joe, this will not be a good buy. SpaceForce: Rogue Universe has many tiny corks and bugs and just little annoyances that a hardcore space junkie will probably overlook while most of us will not. If you have friends into SCI-FI and you're trying to fit in, this is not the way to do it. This game is great, but only for space fanatics.

Neoseeker has published a review of the BFG 8800 GTS OC2 graphics card

The BFG 8800 GTS OC2 is graphics card with some serious-firepower. The card is aimed to interest gamers who are willingly to pay for high performance, but are perhaps not wanting to shell out the top dollar for the pricey pinnacle of GPU technology right now, the 8800 GTX. Being an overclocked 8800 GTS card with 640 MBs of memory, this BFG offering could be seen as addressing a midway point between the attractive price of a 320 MB-variant 8800 GTS, compared to the expensive performance of a 8800 GTX.

OCC has published a new review of the Thermaltake TMG ND5 VGA Cooler

So you've had your nVidia 8800 series video card for a while and you're probably happy with the performance now that they've got newer and better drivers available for it. If only you could bring the temperature down a little, to have some fun overclocking it, or even just for the peace of mind that the card is running cooler than the stock 55 to 70 degrees Celsius. As with many other cooling applications, Thermaltake has introduced an air cooler that just might suit your needs. The TMG ND5 is an air cooler that is built specifically to handle the cooling needs of the 8800 series graphics cards. So if you've got a 8800 GTS or GTX, this cooler was designed with you in mind.

Ninjalane has just posted a review of some silent fans from Noctua.

OCIA.net takes a look at the NZXT Lexa Blackline Case in their latest review

The Lexa Blackline is a nice looking rig. The window could be a little smaller, to hide some of the wire mess, but not a big deal. The red LED fans are a change from the blue ones most rigs use, and the black/red combination is a cool look. I ran the front, rear, and side 120mm fans with 12v, and the trio are surprisingly quiet. So quiet that I may not change them to 5v in the future as I usually do. Keep in mind if you run them at 5v, the LEDs probably won't light up much. The red HDD led is different.goes very well with the theme.

The TechZone has posted a review of the XtremeMac HDMI Switcher

So, you've got an HDTV with just one or two HDMI ports, but you've got that high definition satellite set-top box, you've got that glossy wonder
known as Apple TV, you bought yourself an HD DVD player in preparation for
your new home theater experience, and you're itching to get in on some Virtua Fighter 5 or Resistance: Fall of Man. But you don't want to have to
crawl behind your TV each time you want to switch sources. Well, that's where
this lovingly simple solution comes into play. The XtremeHD HDMI Switcher
from XtremeMac is simplicity itself. It swallows up to four HDMI sources and spits out a single HDMI cable that you can connect to your HDTV. There's no
strange configuration to consider, no software to setup. Just plug it in and it's good to go.

TrustedReviews have looked at the Motorola MC 35 Enterprise Digital Assistant

Rugged or semi-rugged handhelds aren’t everybody’s cup of tea, and have a finite set of markets. Looks are less important than ergonomics, though they shouldn’t be thrown out of the window completely. In this case the looks are pretty uninspiring, but more significantly the mini joystick makes navigation less intuitive than it could be. Maybe Motorola will add a little something to the mix here (though hopefully not flat keyboards). On the plus side, battery life is outstanding, and that’s going to be paramount to the kind of business user who spends most of his time out in the field.

TrustedReviews have looked at the Lenovo ThinkPad T61

Compared to the Dell Latitude D630 the ThinkPad T61 looks like poor value, but you do have to look deeper than basic specs. The keyboard on the T61 is staggeringly good, while the extra features like monitor configuration, wireless setup and the ThinkVantage suite add masses of functionality for the end user and IT manager. Add to that the Centrino Pro remote management functionality, and the fact that this is one of the few Santa Rosa based notebooks to actually sport Draft-N Wi-Fi, and the T61 makes a good argument for itself and its price.
