Legit Reviews posted Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme CPU Cooler Review

The Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme CPU Cooler is a departure from what one would expect a CPU cooler to look like from Zalman. The Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme CPU Cooler is a tower cooler that has an awesome looking “Black-Pearl” nickel plated finish on it that makes it look like a million bucks. Read on to see how this new Zalman offering performs on our Core i7 test platform.

Quote: "With our Intel Core i7 test bench running stock settings we can see how the Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme performs. With the fan running at 100% the CNPS 10X Extreme did very well. Cooling the system to a nice 57.50*C, it is a full 12* cooler than stock cooling, and only 3* off of our first place cooler, the Titan Fenrir. Running the pre-set modes the CNPS 10X Extreme fell in the pack, but still did well...

Tweaknews takes a look at the Maxcube Amoris 6010 Computer Case

The new Amoris 6010 gaming case from Maxcube is a very nice mid-tower chassis, especially considering that it's a first effort from a relative newcomer. It has a distinctive look and an innovative front door design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. A full-featured top I/O panel, great cooling and very good tool-free hardware mounting solutions make this case a pretty good value at just under $100 US.

Synology Disk Station DS409+ NAS Review
HotHardware.com posted a review on the Synology Disk Station DS409+ NAS

NAS devices come in many different shapes and si
zes, as well as with different capacities and features. But for the most-reliable type of storage solution, the NAS devices of choice should be a multi-drive unit with RAID support. It is important to keep in mind, however, that while RAID adds extra layers of fault tolerance in the form redundant data storage--thus making your data's storage more reliable--it is still not a replacement for backing up your data. The best RAID solutions offer easy-to-use and robust tools for doing both.

One great example of such a device is the Synology Disk Station DS409+. The DS409+ is a four-bay NAS device that holds up to four, internal SATA drives that can be set up in a variety of different RAID configurations. The DS409+ also includes an external eSATA port and two USB 2.0 ports, which can be used to attach external hard drives to for additional storage or for dedicated backups of the server; you can also attach up to two printers to the USB ports and use the DS409+ as a print server as well...

Zotac GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 Video Card AMP! Edition Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the Zotac GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 Video Card AMP! Edition

Today I have to review a Zotac GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 Video Card AMP Edition. Zotac is currently producing dozens and dozens of cards, from the GeForce 5 series through the 200 series. This particular card was chosen for a machine that I'd call a "casual everything" computer. By that,I mean that the machine running it occasionally does some video production, some gaming, some photo editing, and the like. However, it doesn't do enough that it needs the world's best card. It's also not your grandma Betty's solitaire and email machine.

Thermaltake Massive23 CS Gaming Notebook Cooler Review
OCC has published a review on the Thermaltake Massive23 CS Gaming Notebook Cooler

Overall, the Thermaltake Massive23 CS did a great job at cooling a notebook and did it with some flare. The addition of being able to select different fan colors on the fly really makes this cooler stand out from the pack and gives it some appeal to those in the gaming crowd, as the product title might suggest. The simple controls and classy design of the cooler itself provide a nice contrast to the bling of the fan. An additional bonus you get while using the Massive23 CS is the better ergonomic positioning of the keyboard. The added tilt helps keep your hands in a better position, allowing for a more comfortable computing experience.

Titan Fenrir Review
PureOverclock has posted a review on the Titan Fenrir

The Titan Fenrir offers Heatpipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology, a very efficient technology in tower-style heatsinks, and promises some efficient cooling numbers. It does look rather similar then to a few other HDT products we've seen, so we have high hopes for this cooler. Let's take a closer look and then strap it into the hot seat on a highly overlocked Core i7 and see what it can do.

Prolimatech Megahalems CPU Cooler Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Prolimatech Megahalems CPU Cooler

The cooler I received to our labs for testing is the Megahalems from Prolimatech. Prolimatech hasn’t been in the cooler market long, but in that short time have created quite a hype and presence. This sample, however, did not come directly from Prolimatech, unlike most of our samples which come directly from the manufacturer. This time I’d like to give a big thanks to CrazyPC for donating the Megahalems and a Scythe fan for our testing.

I mentioned that CrazyPC had also shipped a Scythe fan along with the Megahalems. For those who aren’t aware, as with a few other premium coolers, the Megahalems also ships fan-less. They do have recommendations both on their packaging and on their web site. In most circumstances this isn’t an issue, even if you overlook this on purchase. Prolimatech says that 57 CFM worth of flow is sufficient to keep the Megahalems doing its thing.
