ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe / Mempipe Motherboard Review
Digit-Life posted a review on the ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe / Mempipe Motherboard

Speaking of PCs with three or more graphics cards, they are for hardcore gamers. Percentage of such users is very low. Nevertheless, ASUS does not complain about the lack of attention to this motherboard. Most users consider buying this model (and other similar products) for computers that can be upgraded in future.

Thecus N3200 Networked Area Storage (NAS) Server Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Thecus N3200 Networked Area Storage (NAS) Server.

Even for the home user, if 'in today's networked world, digital content is truly the most precious asset', then perhaps protecting that content and providing easy access to that content is second on the list. The Thecus N3200 is a Networked Attached Storage (NAS) device that proposes to do just that by providing complete data redundancy using RAID 5. Or as Thecus puts it, 'RAID 5 Comes Home'.

Though the corporate environment has been the main domain of network storage devices, the Thecus N3200 NAS Server is designed with the home user in mind. But that doesn't mean that the N3200 wouldn't feel equally at home in a small business (or SOHO) as well. As the need to store and share information ever increases, so does the need for a means. And Thecus thinks it has just that.

The Thecus N3200 has been designed for ease-of-use - from the installation of hard drives using their completely tool-less design to the ability to configure and manage the unit through any web browser using their web-based management tool. Small, yet feature ladened, the Thecus N3200 hopes to help propel Thecus to the top of the heap when it comes to NAS solutions.

When it comes to modding your PC, the most common visual adjustments are lighting. Be it LED Fans or Cold Cathodes, lighting the interior of your PC is a simple affair. However, with these two forms of lighting your are limited in your placement of them.

EL Wire on the other hand can be pretty much placed anyway you can route it, and even made into different shapes. Folks have even put it inside keyboards behind the keys. It's pretty versatile stuff, and our friends over at CrazyPC have their own kit for sale , so let's take a look shall we?

Arctic Breeze Fan Cooler Review
TechwareLabs has published a review of the Arctic Breeze Fan Cooler

I never thought this would happen to me, but here I am, at work, sitting at my desk, and I’m being blown. Last night, I was getting blown on the couch and, while browsing articles on TechwareLabs, my roommate came up and asked me what the hell I was doing. He sat down next to me and before we knew it, both of us were being blown at the same time! For just a few bucks you can get blown too… even while gaming!

Tagan A+ Black Pearl WCR Review
APH Networks has published a new review on the Tagan A+ Black Pearl WCR

Here in North America, everything is bigger the better. The bigger the TV, the better. The bigger your computer monitor, the better. The bigger the fridge, the better. That's because big houses here are really that common. But in that regard, "the bigger the house, the better" is almost a universal appeal. That said, you got to see the cars around here (Or USDM cars if you don't live in US or Canada). For almost every new design, cars gets longer and wider by a few inches. Check out the new Honda Accord. Or heck, today's Civic is the size of an Accord a decade back. Then there's computer cases. Is the bigger the better? It seems that full tower cases has garnered more appeal than ever before. I don't recall anyone owning anything more than midtower beige boxes in 2001. Lately, computers with hot running components, half a dozen hard drives, and a couple of graphics cards that extends past the edge of your motherboard, it's not illogical that large full tower eATX cases are landing in the home of many computer enthusiasts to accommodate all those components. Today, we'll take a look at the Tagan A+ Black Pearl WCR case -- an update to their popular A+ Black Pearl chassis, now with pre-drilled holes for water cooling support. Built by Lian Li, the company with a reputation for legendary quality cases, the Tagan A+ Black Pearl looks like a winner on paper. But how does it accomplish its task in real life? We'll have to see about that in our review today.

Stix 200 Wii-like PC Controller Review
I4U NEWS published a review of the Stix 200 PC Controller.

Today we are looking at the Stix 200 motion sensitive 2D video game controller. The Stix 200 promises to bring Wii-like controls to the PC.

The Stix 200 controller itself looks very much like the Wii Remote. It has the same white color and "D" shape design with a trigger on the bottom of the controller, two buttons on top, and a circle with four other buttons on it that is like a "D" pad on a normal gaming controller. The buttons are backlit with a green light and are touch sensitive so there are no real buttons to press other than the trigger underneath. All of the buttons are fully programmable.

SteelSeries IKARI Laser and Optical Gaming Mice Review
Metku.net took a closer look at SteelSeries IKARI gaming mice, both the Laser and Optical models.

As an avid FPS-gamer both of these mice were tested by playing COD4, CS:S, and TF2 to mention a few. After getting used to the shape of the mouse everything went just as it was supposed to. I found myself getting the headshots I needed, even in difficult situations. Both of the mice tracked as they were supposed to and even all of the faster movements were tracked without any jitters.

P45 not only supports true Crossfire thanks to its twin x8 PCIe slots, but it also manages to support DDR2 and DDR3 along with the latest ICH10R Southbridge and PCI Express 2.0 support. The best thing is that all this falls into the mid-range PCs price point. Who could argue with that?

Today GIGABYTE has sent us their latest high-end offering, based on the P45 chipset. This baby is dubbed the EP45-Extreme and we will show you why soon.

PowerColor HD4870 PCS+ Review
OCC has published a new review on the PowerColor HD4870 PCS+

When it comes to the PowerColor HD4870 video card, the main thing that comes to mind were the amazing scores the card was able to produce in the 3DMark06 benchmark. The stock overclocked scores were amazing but when the card was overclocked further, wow! The price for this amazing piece of computer hardware is just about perfect, I was very surprised to see that the card only cost around $290 USD, and when you compare that to the price of the other HD4870s out on the market, they come very close but when you get into the prices of some of the nVidia cards, you are going to be expected to pay quite a bit more for less performance. The simple fact that I was able to get the core of the card up past 850MHz was another added bonus, I was expecting to only get an extra 25-30MHz, not 60MHz, on the core and 200MHz on the memory! The cooling solution that PowerColor has added to its HD4870 was able to keep the card quite cool; during full load the card was only reaching 55C, which is lower than some of the HD4850s that were clocked lower than this!

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 260 AMP! Edition Video Card Review
Futurelooks checked out a new video card from ZOTAC

We’ve already reviewed the high performance chipset, the GTX 280, so it’s time to take a look at the middle of the road. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 was released concurrently the GeForce GTX 280 as a mid-range version of that card. This pair of cards were released just 3 months after the GeForce 9 series, which caused a few eye brows to be raised. Some wondered if this was actually a new card, or another revamp of an old chipset. Thankfully that simply isn’t the case.

Zalman HD160XT Plus Premium HTPC Case Review
Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Zalman HD160XT Plus Premium HTPC Case

I loved Zalman's HD160XT when I got a chance to look at it in early 2007. It was hard for me to imagine that they could improve on it very much. Well, they found a way. Actually a couple of ways. I like the reorganized front panel for the improved access to the control buttons and I/O features. I also think that the change to the iMON software is an improvement, not only for its functionality, but also for the future support and updates that will be available from SoundGraph. Losing fan control and temperature monitoring is a bit of a disappointment, but the fans in the HD160XT Plus are very quiet (at 5V) anyway, and looking back, I don't think I used the temp monitor that much either.
