Canon PIXMA MP510 Reviewed
BIOS Magazine posted a review on the Canon PIXMA MP510

Canon has recently launched a raft of new products, ranging from printers to digital cameras and scanners. The company's brand-new range of
all-in-one printers are aimed squarely at consumers, but there's absolutely no reason why small businesses shouldn't also be interested. As long you don't need fax functionality that is - these units can only print, scan and copy.

HEXUS checked out the eVGA e-GeForce 7900 GS Superclocked

Today sees NVIDIA announce two new products in the high end of the mid-range, launching one with immediate availability to boot, in order to do something with less-than-perfect G71 silicon in one instance, and phase out an existing product with something they think is better in the other. GeForce 7900 GS and GeForce 7950 GT are their names, here's the skinny on them both.

Nvidia Geforce 7900GS Review
3DAvenue.com have posted their review of Nvidia's latest mainstream PCI-E solution, the Geforce 7900GS.

Despite the 7900GT's success though, in the past few weeks and months, Nvidia have been working on a chip with potentially even more bang for your buck, and this goes by the name 7900GS. Unlike the 7800GS which was AGP only, the 7900GS is more or less aimed squarely at the PCI-E user who would consider the 7900GT, but might decide instead to go the 7600GT route due to cost. This is because the 7900GS will sell at the US$199 price point - wedged nicely in between a US$160-ish 7600GT and US$260-ish 7900GT.

XFX GeForce 7900 GS 480M Extreme & 7950 GT Info
HotHardware.Com took a retail-ready XFX GeForce 7900 GS for a spin at its factory-overclocked speeds and down-clocked it to illustrate how reference cards would perform as well.

The company is launching two new GPU's aimed squarely at the more mainstream price segments of the gaming community. Here, we find the GeForce 7900 GS coming to market with an MSRP of $199 and the GeForce 7950 GT which carries an MSRP of $299. With these two GPU's, NVIDIA is providing the market with a direct response to ATI's recently announced and yet currently unavailable Radeon X1900 XT 256MB as well as the currently available Radeon X1800 GTO.

XFX 7900GS Review
Neoseeker has published a review of today's newly announced XFX 7900 GS.

The most notable aspect of this XFX in particular is the black PCB and black cooler. XFX have gone to good lengths to differentiate this board from the competition and the overall impression this board leaves is much larger than that of the usual green PCB variety. The black coating that XFX have used on this board is matte rather than the usual glossy surface we're accustomed to (see the third picture below for an example) and makes the card quite striking overall.

Legit Reviews put up a XFX GeForce 7900 GS 480M Video Card Review

The 7900 GS is literally in a league of its own. ATI has no part that can compete with it at the $199 price point. The high-end features and power of the G71 core make it the card to have for anyone not willing to pony up three, four, or five bills for the latest and greatest. If one wants to run SLI with a pair of GeForce 7900GS video cards it can be done for under $400, which is a heck of a deal for the performance numbers that we are seeing...

Asus P5NSLI Review
bit-tech.net published a review on the Asus P5NSLI

We really like the P5NSLI for what it represents. It may be a pain in the butt to set up with the current BIOS, but everything seems to have a learning curve these days. Since the nForce 570 SLI Intel Edition chipset uses the same northbridge (and memory controller) as the older nForce4 SLI Intel Edition chipset, we're expecting a new BIOS to fix the memory-related issues we've had. Once you've found the sweet spot, the P5NSLI will run all day, every day without issue. With all things considered, it's a great board for the price, even with the current DDR2-667 issues we've encountered.

Razer Barracuda HP-1 Gaming Headphones Review
XYZ Computing published a review on the Razer Barracuda HP-1 Gaming Headphones

Despite Razer's great reputation for making hardware, the audio market will not necessarily be as hospitable to their expansion as the input device market has been. As opposed to doing more of what they do best, this is a new area for Razer and they have to deal with some major competition from companies like Creative, Shure, and Sennheiser. While competing with big companies is nothing new to Razer, they might be a bit out of their comfort zone with audio products.

The Barracuda HP-1 headphones are built specifically with the unique demands of the gamer in mind. As with other products, like Shure's gamer earphones, Razer is going to have to convince consumers that the HP-1 headphones bring something big to the table. Razer's site says a lot about discrete audio drivers and oxygen-free cable, but what really matters is how these translate into a great gaming experience.

Sunbeam Multi-Fan Power Port Review
Hardware Review takes a look at the Sunbeam Multi-Fan Power Port

Cable management is always on my list when IÂ’m building a new computer for a client or friend. When I choose to use aircooling in a case, I end up having three or four fans running to keep my hardware cool. This sometimes causes problems because some motherboards donÂ’t have enough three-pin connectors available to power all the fans. Sunbeam developed an affordable and efficient way to work around this issue when they created the Multi-Fan Power Port. This handy fan bus can power up to six different fans as well as provide a neat and tidy way to take care of fan cable clutter.

The sounds of people’s heads banging on their innocent keyboards can be heard on a daily basis these days after their computers give them the dreaded Blue Screen of Death and turn their hard drives into useless clumps of corrupted data. While these people make their way to their medicine cabinets for some much-needed aspirin, others happily continue working because they know they have all their files backed up on external hard drives. To help those less fortunate and deprived of any backup utilities, VIZO has developed a very compact portable back-up device called the Paragon that uses a tiny laptop hard drive and provided software to give users a unique “one-touch” system to conveniently back up all their important files and documents. Let’s see how this little wonder holds up during our evaluation.

Intel E6300 and E6400 Core 2 Duo Review
Neoseeker has published a review of Intel's E6300 and E6400 Core 2 Duo chips.

The E6300 sits at the bottom of Intel's Desktop Core 2 lineup and despite being a brand new chip, can be had for less than $200 from major online retailers. It's clocked at 1.86 GHz, just over 2GHz less than the 2.16 GHz E6400 which can be had for under $250. As brand new chips, these prices are incredible and will doubtless make these CPU's the subject of high demand for quite some time.

How To Clean Up Windows Startup
Digital Grabber explains how to clean up Windows Startup

Some of the kinder and well written programs are configurable and allow you to change the settings that starts them up. If this option is available, then this is the best approach. There are, however, many programs that do not give you the choice and no matter how many times you remove them, they return. Two that I find really annoying are the "Windows Messenger" and the "Quicktime Task". Both sit in the system tray and I don't need or want them there. I'll show you how to get rid of them forever if you have Windows XP Pro or Windows 2000. For those with Windows XP Home, this solution will not work.

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Review
Laptop Gamers has posted a new article on the Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard

Logitech has come up with a really solid product for gaming enthusiasts. Although there is nothing revolutionary about the keyboard, it has more than enough features to warrant a purchase. You can easily tell that Logitech did their homework before designing this keyboard. While reviewing the G15, I was most impressed by the wide spectrum of features. Minor features like the 'Game Mode' switch are a nice bonus. Who would've thought that a feature to disable your Windows keys would help enhance your gaming experience? Well, Logitech obviously did. More significant features like the G-keys and their vast amount of programmability options will help gamers of all levels gain a competitive edge. The Logitech G15 has a deep level of customization that is second to none.

TrustedReviews looked at the Lenovo 3000 N100 Notebook

The first thing that struck me about the chassis was that on the top there are icons at the sides indicating where each port is. This is really useful as you aren't left fumbling around looking for a USB port. If in doubt, look on the left hand side, where you will find a single USB port, FireWire, Ethernet, a PC Card slot and an SD Card reader. On the right hand side are another three USB ports and audio connectivity. At the rear of the right panel is a D-SUB connection, and at the back there is an S-Video output too for connecting to a TV.
