Antec VP550P 550w PSU Review
XSReviews posted a review on the Antec VP550P 550w PSU

Since HardwareSecrets gave us all a beating on our PSU review practices a few years ago, many -- including ourselves -- have been reduced to doing Previews and Unboxings to keep ourselves honest; we didn't have the equipment to do things properly, so we wern't going to be false about it.

The problem with PSU reviews, is that a proper load tester, costs a lot of money; more than this humble review site can afford. What we can do though, is bug companies like BeQuiet to buy some testing kit for us. They didn't get us a Chroma system, but we did get a DS1M12 oscilloscope. That lets us get back in the game somewhat.

So here we go folks, XSR's first PSU review since we got whisked away to Cooler Master HQ last year.

Hard Reset GPU & CPU Performance Test
Techspot posted Hard Reset GPU & CPU Performance Test

Newcomer 'Flying Wild Hog' has been secretly working on an early Christmas present for PC gamers, the game is called Hard Reset. Some of you may have already heard of it, as a 1GB playable demo was released last week. The preview contained a portion of the first level, offering roughly 20–30 minutes of gameplay using a wide range of weapons.

What makes Hard Reset an exciting release is not just that it's a PC exclusive title, of course, but so far we've been pleased with its somewhat basic gameplay mechanics and overall feel. Hard Reset is incredibly fun to play, moreover the game looks impressive, featuring quality graphics, despite it's a DX9 only title. Let’s move on to see how we tested the game.

ASRock A75M-ITX (AMD A75) Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted ASRock A75M-ITX (AMD A75) Motherboard Review

While the initial Fusion product, Brazos was seen with a lot of mITX offerings, we always said that a bit more power would be appreciated. In steps the Llano platform; the problem with that was initially we didn't see any mITX boards that could carry the new crop of APUs from AMD. That's changed today, though, as we look at the A75M-ITX.

Before we look at the performance side of things, the first thing we need to do is check out the package to see what ASRock is offering us. Then we'll take a closer look at the motherboard before we get into the BIOS to see what's going on there. Once that's done, we'll look at our testbed before we also check out the overclocking capabilities of the board and of course the performance it's able to offer against another mITX board we've looked at recently.[/quote6

Zowie Celeritas Competive Gaming Keyboard Review
OCC has published a review on the Zowie Celeritas Competive Gaming Keyboard

The Celeritas doesn't have any specific features to make it especially comfortable. It has the feel of an older style keyboard with clicky noises and clicky feel to confirm your keystroke. I think what made the keyboard a bit uncomfortable as opposed to rubber coated keys or a laptop style layout would be the space bar itself. The space bar has a rather harsh edge which, yes fits in with the style, but after some use makes you want to avoid using it. The space bar doesn't have the usual clicky sound like the other keys, as it is rather soft feeling and somewhat lacks the satisfaction for every press. With the space bar set aside the keyboard is just as comfortable as any stock keyboard.

Lian Li PC-Q25 Mini-Q SFF Chassis Review
Tweaktown posted a review on the Lian Li PC-Q25 Mini-Q SFF Chassis

The PC-Q series from Lian Li have all been small in stature and along the lines improvements and new ideas are incorporated. What we are about to see does get most of its inspiration from the PC-Q11. The idea seems to have been to strip the PC-Q11 of the front I/O and external bays and leave a smooth undisturbed front panel in its place.

Internally a few more changes are made, such as the drive bays, but they do keep some of the old mixed in as well. Don't think this is a complete rehash. Even though the idea of why something is there is the same, the way in which it is mounted or how it installs may be a complete turnaround.

OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 480GB Review
Techradar posted a review on the OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 480GB SSD

Too much performance is a nice problem to have. It is still a problem though, especially in the context of some solid state drives. But not the new OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 480GB. OCZ claims it's capable of read speeds up to 1.5GB/s. That's monumental bandwidth by any measure and much, much more than even the latest SATA 6Gbps interface can handle. In practice, a mere 500MB/s of sequential bandwidth can be enough to saturate a SATA interface. That's why drives powered by the latest SandForce SSD controller, such as OCZ's own Vertex 3 or Corsair's Force GT, can't quite reach their full potential on a SATA connection. There's simply not enough available bandwidth. But the OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 480GB is no ordinary SSD.
