Thermaltake BlacX SE USB Hard Drive Dock Review
Everything USB posted a review on the Thermaltake BlacX SE USB Hard Drive Dock

Many households go through numerous generations of internal computer hard drives ranging from 2.5" laptop to 3.5" desktop / server class hard drives in a futile attempt to remain up-to-date with storage requirements, but what do you do when you quickly need to retrieve your photos or documents you filed away on that old 80GB hard drive? Enter the Thermaltake BlacX SE USB hard drive dock for SATA hard drives.

Verdict:
The Thermaltake BlacX SE is an average performer in the USB mass storage
class of devices with a great build quality. While we can easily
recommend the Thermaltake BlacX SE to anyone serious about backing up
their photos, music, documents, we are also excitedly looking forward to
an eSATA version to increase performance and to help future-proof the
design.

The Good:
+ Solid build quality
+ Protective hard drive cage
+ Supports 2.5" & 3.5" SATA HDDs up to 1TB
+ Hot-swap hard drive support
+ Power button to reduce power consumption when not in use
+ An integrated 4-port USB hub

The Bad:
- Average performer
- Short USB cable and power cable
- Half exposed drive electronics
- Only 2A DC power supply
- No eSATA port

Coolermaster UCP 1100w Review
XSReviews has reviewed the Coolermaster UCP 1100w PSU

When it comes to cases, Coolermaster are one of the big name manufacturers that most see going hand in hand with quality. In recent years they've extended their reach in the hardware world to many different markets, but one of the biggest ones has to be their range of PSUs. Today I have the chunky UCP 1100w unit. Let's see how it compares to the myriad of PSUs we've looked at recently.

ViewSonic VX2262wm Super HD Monitor Review
BIOS posted a review on the ViewSonic VX2262wm Super HD Monitor

The VX2262wm doesn't break down barriers nor set new benchmarks in display technology, but it certainly brings games and movies to life. Encased in an ultra-sleek chassis and packing in a lot of technology, the VX2262wm offers a great balance of performance and price. Of course you'll be able to find monitors with better image quality and a greater range of connectivity options, but for the high-end home user the VX2262wm is outstanding value. It even has a 1680x1050 resolution, which is higher than some similarly-priced monitors, as well as a 16:10 aspect ratio. It's a shame the stand can't be raised or lowered for a more comfortable viewing experience, and the cable tidy sucks. Also, the backlight bleeds around the edges slightly, but how often do you sit looking at a blank screen?

Antec Signature 650W PSU Review
JonnyGURU.com posted Antec Signature 650W PSU Review

You may recall that the SG-850 received the first 10 out of 10 rating I've ever given out for performance, and I have a confession to make: after that product's very impressive showing, I installed it into my main computer where it is now running as I type this, displacing a very impressive in its own right 1200W unit. Not just any unit can make that claim, and you better believe that I want to see how the 650W version performs just as much as you all do. Let's get things rolling with a few box shots.

Eagle Technology L-Series 2.5-inch HDD Enclosure Review
OCModShop posted a review on the Eagle Technology L-Series 2.5-inch HDD Enclosure

Eagle has brought us a new enclosure just begging for your old hardware. Or new hardware. It doesn't care. Enclosure don't discriminate. Except when they only take SATA, like this one. Then it discriminates quite a bit. The Eagle L-Series can hold 2.5" SATA drives up to 250GB with a max of 7200RPM. I don't think that's too bad. That's more than enough storage for all your music, video, games, and all that other stuff you downloaded illegal while connected to your neighbor's wireless network.

Diamond HD4870 1GB Review
OCC has published a new review on the Diamond HD4870 1GB

The Diamond HD4870 video card with 1GB of GDDR5 RAM, has a great stock cooler installed on it, as it is able to keep it cool while under load as well as when it is idle. The card never went much over 85=B0C, which is higher than some of the other cards out on the market, however there is more dense and hotter memory modules on the Diamond card than others that made the temperatures higher. The dual slot design of the Diamond HD4870 card is both a good thing as well as a con as it does allow for a thicker stock cooling device, however it does make the card bulkier than if it had a slim card. By being that thick, it does cut into the amount of room and depending on how the motherboard it is being installed on is setup, it may not allow you to have a second card installed. The 1GB of GDDR5 installed on the card is a great addition to the card, allowing it to have more even scores across the different resolutions, however with its increased power consumption, it did take a decrease in the overclockability of the card. The performance of the card was also fairly straight across the board; the results from the benchmark testing were pretty much even with each other, there was not any that were significantly higher than another one.

Corsair TX Series TX750 750 Watt Power Supply Review
Techaddicts.net posted a review on the Corsair TX Series TX750 750 Watt Power Supply

This power supply would be ideal for anyone looking to build a quad core system with multiple video cards. It also is SLi Certified for up to two GeForce 8800 GTX GPU's, but I am sure that it can handle more than that, with its four 8-pin PCI express connectors. It also has an abundance of power cables, eight molex and eight SATA power connectors. At around $120, this power supply is priced adequately for a high quality 750 Watt PSU. Overall, this is a great power supply and should be purchased by anyone looking for efficiency, a strong single +12v rail, amazing output performance, and a trusted brand name.

DYMO DiscPainter Review
TheTechLounge reviewed the DYMO DiscPainter

While it might not be quite as creative as spending hours scouring magazines for that perfect cut and paste cover for your newest teenage crush mix tape, the DYMO DiscPainter does make things easier. Two lousy minutes worth of printing lends a semi-professional look to any DVD or CD made for inkjet printing. Overall I was pleased with the final image quality given that there is only one ink cartridge doing all the work. If you look closely you can sometimes spy the concentric rings left behind from DYMO's RadialPrint technology. But at arms length most users would be hard pressed to complain about the quality of most print jobs.

ZOTAC nForce 610i Mini-ITX Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ZOTAC nForce 610i Mini-ITX Motherboard

When we think of Mini-ITX motherboards, we usually think of VIAs EPIA range. However, as of recently Intel has introduced Atom, a very impressive low power CPU. Its power usage has plummeted and its performance per watt has increased, but compared to Nano it still can’t handle the full load that a true CPU can. So until now it’s been a bit of a compromise on the CPU power if you want a small form PC.

ZOTAC, one of the relatively new names here at TweakTown has come to the rescue by introducing form and functionality with their new Mini-ITX motherboard based around the nForce 610i chipset; supporting an LGA775 Core 2 series CPU.
