Gigabyte Triton 180 Case Review
Tweaknews.net posted Gigabyte Triton 180 Case Review

For a price of $70 US, it will be difficult to find a better case than the Triton 180. It's solidly built and roomy inside but not so large that it takes up too much desk space. Instead of using windows, lights, or other flashy things Gigabyte went for a nice and sleek, sophisticated appearance without being too plain.

Asus Blitz Formula Motherboard Review
Viper Lair posted a review on the Asus Blitz Formula Motherboard

Asus have done a great job with the BIOS and it is one of the easiest we have ever used. Even the most inexperienced overclocker should be able to leave pretty much everything on automatic and achieve a very high overclock. Those who know what they are doing will have plenty to play with as the options are extensive to say the least. The BIOS offers options for storing a couple of settings profiles, plus more with a USB Flash drive or other Fat formatted storage device if you so desire, although it's a shame none of this seems to tie in with the Asus software (at least it didn't with Vista).

Hades H1 3200dpi Gaming Mouse Review
OcModShop posted Hades H1 3200dpi Gaming Mouse Review

Hardcore PC Gamers are serious about the equipment they use. If they weren't, then there would be no market for "extreme" gaming peripherals like gaming mice and gaming keyboards. Several vendors have introduced better products in the past few years that cater to the "professional gamer". The computer mouse, once thought to never use much bandwidth, now require USB 2.0's high polling rate to deliver the fast motion necessary.

Hades is new to the computer peripheral market, and has introduced their H1 Professional Gaming Mouse, which they boast as "the most advanced optical gaming mouse in the world". They are going to have some serious competition with the more established kids on the block, Razer, Logitech and Microsoft. The feature list of the Hades H1 seems in-line with other gaming mouse products.

ASRock 4Core1333-Viiv Motherboard Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the ASRock 4Core1333-Viiv Motherboard

The performance of ASRock 4Core1333-Viiv motherboard is just outstanding at default settings! This board really flies, especially when compared to the P35 boards that are represented in our test results. It is hard to believe that it performs so well up against the newer P35 boards, but the truth is, it blew them away in much of our testing. It just goes to show what can be done with a mature chipset like the Intel P965 Express!

Akasa Revo CPU Cooler Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Akasa Revo CPU Cooler

Akasa has just introduced a new CPU cooler called the Revo, which features their new SilentFlux technology. This cooler utilizes a bubble pump to move the heat from the base through a radiator where it can be cooled by a fan. We put the Revo to the test to see how well this new cooling technology performs.

ADATA Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR2 800 Memory Review
OCC has published a new review of the ADATA Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR2 800 Memory

Nevertheless, there is a heat issue that needs to be addressed. With the XMS2 and the Ballistix RAM, I could touch them my fingers and be fine, but the ADATA ram was too hot to keep my fingers on. This did not seem to affect the performance at all, but I would recommend that you have some sort of active cooling on the modules so that you avoid the chance of them overheating. With both sets installed, I could feel the heat radiating so much that it was enveloping the CPU cooler and might cause a problem with the CPU temps over longterm use if not cooled properly. This may have been advoided by having the top part of the PC board exposed to give off the heat. This set had the top fully enveloped so there is no room to breathe. Also the heatsinks are not as secure as other manufacturers' sets that I have used and might wiggle off over time.

Samsung SCX-4500 MFP Review
DreamWare Computers takes a look at the Samsung SCX-4500 MFP printer

Most laser printers and copiers fall into the same category that all printers have for many years; they've just been plain old beige boxes that sit on your desk and hum away with the occasional printing or copying job. Well, Samsung has decided to give the standard multifunction laser unit a little more "pizaz", and have come out with the SCX-4500. The looks on this printer are stunning, a gloss black exterior with a new and unique design for this kind of device. With all the lights and screen being a dark blue LED colour, it's surely going to be an eye catching printer!

Sapphire HD 2600Pro AGP Review
OCC has published a new review of the Sapphire HD 2600Pro AGP

The Sapphire HD 2600Pro is not a card that will break any benchmark records, nor will it allow you to crank up all the visual goodies. What it will do (and quite well) is allow a large segment of consumers the ability to stretch out the usefulness of their current systems. In today's day, where you are overloaded with marketing and pushed into upgrading for no other reason than to have the latest greatest hardware, ATI has come to the rescue of the majority of users. The HD 2600Pro put up a good fight and with some tweaking, you can find a happy medium between image quality and performance. While we didn't look at any DX10 games today, rest assured OCC will take a look at them very soon on this platform.

A.C.Ryan AluBoxDuo LAN - ndas storage Review
XtremeComputing posted a review on the AluBoxDuo LAN - ndas storage from A.C.Ryan

The thing that impresses me the most about the A.C.Ryan AluBoxDuo LAN is the manual and the depths it goes into, even a novice to computer hardware could set-up the A.C.Ryan AluBoxDuo LAN. With one or two minor exceptions the manual is faultless and the software guides you through the procedures smoothly.

Adobe FrameMaker 8 Review
TrustedReviews have looked at Adobe FrameMaker 8.

The cheapest we could find FrameMaker 8 for is £806 for the full version or £270 for the upgrade (from previous versions of FrameMaker, only). In the US, Adobe prices the full version at around $899, so not much over half the UK price. Adobe wouldn't comment on the price difference, but the only reason we can think of for the much higher UK price is because customers are still prepared to buy it for that.

FrameMaker 8 is an excellent document creation tool with some very worthwhile improvements in the latest version, but the retail pricing is outrageous. (Corporate pricing may be better - please let us know). The price must, surely, discourage its wider adoption, which is a great shame.

Pentax Optio M40 Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Pentax Optio M40.

Pentax is well known for its ultra-slim digital cameras, and the pocket-sized Optio M40 is the slimmest of the lot. But doesn't it bear a striking resemblance to the M30, launched just six months previously? And does it take more than just a bigger sensor to make a better camera?

ATP SD Trio Professional Plus 1 GB Flash Memory Review
Futurelooks posted a review on ATP SD Trio Professional Plus 1 GB Flash Memory

That’s the fundamental advantage to the ATP SD Trio over its competitors: it really is three cards in one. Typically, when you purchase a microSD card from a major manufacturer, it will come with an adapter that brings it up to the standard SD card size. The same can be said about most miniSD cards, but no other manufacturer — to my knowledge — has decided to toss all three sizes in one package.
