Samsung GX 1L Digital SLR Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Samsung GX 1L Digital SLR

You may get a strong sense of déjà vu looking at these pictures of the Samsung GX 1L . Don’t worry, it’s not a glitch in the Matrix; you really have seen it before. I reviewed it back in July, but then it was called the Pentax *ist DL2. Samsung and Pentax have a joint development deal for digital SLR technology, and have launched their own versions of several key models including this one, the GX 1S and the new GX 10, which is actually a slightly re-modelled Pentax K10D.

Hi-Grade DMS Extreme Blu-ray Media Center Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Hi-Grade DMS Extreme Blu-ray Media Center

Hi-Grade is one of the few independent PC companies surviving from the 80s. Like others of its ilk, Hi-Grade has been making and designing Media Center systems since the outset of the platform. Last year Riyad looked at its DMS II and while he was reasonably impressed he did have issues with the way it looked. This new DMS Extreme system will have its work cut out in that regard with the Sony Media Center I looked at recently easily taking the plaudits as one of the best looking media systems I've seen.

MSI P965 Platinum Review
Neoseeker has published a review of the MSI P965 Platinum.

My initial impression of the board - other than the DIMM socket coloring - was highly favorable. The MSI P965 Platinum has a nice clean layout, was easy to install, is completely passively cooled, and had an excellent BIOS featuring MSI's "Cell Menu" for overclockers. Performance at stock speeds is also quite impressive. Considering the P965 is the "poor man's 975X" this board was pretty much neck to neck against the more expensive boards we tested.

Thermaltake Jungle 512 Bifurcated Fin Heatsink Review
FrostyTech posted a Thermaltake Jungle 512 Bifurcated Fin Heatsink Review

Thermaltake's Jungle 512 socket 775 heatsink looks like it packs a pretty heavy punch.... but does it really? It's monsterous 92mm PWM fan draws upwards of 1.0Amp at full speed, and its red fan blades spin with enough force to take a big chunk out of careless fingers too. Below the big fan is a circular array of bifurcated aluminum fins, and at the Jungle 512's heart a large copper slug; all fairly standard stuff for an Intel socket 775 heatsink. The Intel 'Prescott FMB2' compliant Thermaltake Jungle 512 heatsink is equipped with a 32x92x92mm 4-pin PWM fan that rotates at between 2300 and 3600RPM. When installed on a PWM fan compatible socket 775 motherboard, this finger chopping fan scales its speed to meet the immediate thermal demands of the processor, without creating too much unnecessary noise.

PC Stats posted a beginners guides about stopping Spam

Besides being the best illustration to date of Monty Python's deathless grasp on popular culture, junk email, unsolicited commercial email, or good old 'spam', is an issue that affects every email user, and by extension, every computer user. The use of email as a mass-marketing tool has become an epidemic particular to the current global use of computers in our society. The best way of dealing with spam currently is through avoidance and redirection. If you use email, sooner or later you will start receiving spam; but if you can redirect this spam to a location where you don't have to look at it, it won't do you any harm.
