The GAINWARD GeForce3 PowerPack!!! VIVO Golden Sample, is not only a mouthful to say but is also one feature rich graphics card. Back in the day GAINWARD touted that their GeForce2 Ultra's were Golden Samples and could clock significantly higher then the competition. Unfortunately for us gamers, the Golden Sample GAINWARD products never made it to store shelves in any kind of volume. This probably has much to do with the fact that nVidia carries a big stick when enforcing its guidelines with manufacturers. Needless to say nVidia was probably none-to-happy with one of their customers breaking the recommended clock speed and therefore acquiring an edge over some of its bigger chip purchasing clients. This time around the block GAINWARD has taken the backdoor approach to cranking up the clock on their Golden Sample. Instead of having the card default to a higher clock speed and receiving another wrap on the knuckles from nVidia, GAINWARD equips you with their own overclocking utility.
