Nvidia, Asus, Inno3D GTS 450 Review @ OCC
These reference cards with the reference cooling were able to clock up to 952/1904MHz on the CUDA cores and 1092MHz (4368MHz effective) with not much more than a bump of the voltage and fan speeds to get there. That's a 20+% improvement folks. This offered up a significant increase in firepower and showed in the results. Add in that second card and the performance skyrockets. When two GTS 450 cards are run in an SLI configuration, the performance almost doubles in most of the games I tested. In some instances the performance literally did double from the single to a multiple card configuration.

NVidia GeForce GTS 450 Video Card Review @ Ninjalane
Ninjalane has posted their review of the new GTS 450 from nVidia. Its a good mid range card with mid range performance. In this review, we will be looking at a new gpu from nvidia which is targeted directly at the mainstream gamer. When we define "mainstream gamer," we are talking about the type of gamer who isn't sitting on a pile of money, the type of gamer who embraces overclocking to extend the life of their system, the type of gamer that might be you.

MSI N450GTS Cyclone 1GB Review @ KitGuru
With the launch of the GTS450, those with around £100 ($150) to spend on a new graphics card are in for a treat. Not only is the new nVidia product exciting on paper but we are also seeing some price movement from AMD that’s going to make the whole market segment very interesting indeed. With prices moving faster than quicksand, will the GTS450 also manage to steal market share from AMD’s golden 5770? Today we find out.

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 DirectX 11 Video Card Single and SLI Review @ Hi Tech Legion
The NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 based on the "Fermi" GF106 architecture is a Direct X 11 video card. The GTS 450 was designed for those who are serious about gaming but consider value their first priority. The NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 targets those who game on monitors which are between 17 and 22" at resolutions between 1280 x 1024 and 1680 x 1050. The GF106 chipset is of the "Fermi" architecture but scaled down to make it more affordable. The GTS 450 GF106 chipset is of its own it is not a crippled higher end processor with cores and features shut down. Based on the same process as the GTX 460 the GTS 450 comes with 4 Streaming Multiprocessors, 192 CUDA cores, 32 texture units and 16 ROP units.

Tech ARP: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 Technology Report
Fermi has been out for ages, but NVIDIA continue to rely on their older GPUs to power their graphics cards. Take, for example, the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250. Despite being part of the GeForce 200 series of graphics cards, it's actually a rebranded GeForce 9800 GTX+.

So it was no great surprise when NVIDIA informed us that they would be launching the GeForce GTS 450 and that it would replace the GeForce GTS 250 and all x600 graphics cards (GeForce 9600, GeForce 8600, etc). Our initial thoughts were, "Finally!" and, "It's about time they put the G92 out to pasture". Then came the big surprise...

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 Review @ Neoseeker
NVIDIA launches its new GeForce GTS 450 with the Sniper's aim of further bringing DirectX 11 gaming (and Fermi GPU architecture) to the masses. At $130 USD, it's certainly an enticing proposition for 1650x1050p gaming. It's also get ATI's Radeon HD 5750 in its sights, but can this Sniper shoot to kill ATI's mainstream offerings? We hope you and your readers will find out in our latest NVIDIA review!

Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 SLI and Palit GTS 450 Sonic Platinum Review
Nvidia landed an astounding blow to AMD last July pulling the GeForce GTX 460 out of nowhere and quickly taking the lead as the best mid-range graphics card on the market. It's only been a few weeks since and the 768MB version of this card can now be had for as little as $170, crushing the Radeon HD 5830, and questioning if the slightly cheaper Radeon HD 5770 is worth the money.

However there is still a huge market for sub-$200 gaming graphics cards. AMD has had a range of products in this segment for some time now, and just recently they cut prices all around likely ahead of any launch from competitor Nvidia. The Radeon HD 5770 ($140), 5750 ($120) and 5670 ($80) are all current generation GPUs, while Nvidia has had nothing new to offer in these price brackets. Until now, of course, as we check out the newly released GeForce GTS 450, code-named GF106.

GeForce GTS 450 SLI Scaling Efficiency @ Benchmark Reviews
Only a few years ago NVIDIA's SLI technology was a feature only the most elite gamers took advantage of, helping them to push the fastest graphics cards on the planet even faster. Often times a second GeForce video card could be combined into a SLI set and produce 33-50% more performance. Those days are gone, and Benchmark Reviews has learned that a set of GF106 GPUs can do a lot more than scale; they can multiply. Since a single $129 GeForce GTS 450 can outperform an AMD Radeon HD 5750 and match the 5770, what kind of performance do you get from two GTS 450's for $258? It seems like a pair of mainstream GTS 450's in SLI should compete nicely against AMD's $200 Radeon HD 5830, or maybe even their $270 Radeon HD 5850. As it turns out, two GTS 460's in SLI are good enough to threaten NVIDIA's top-end segment. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 SLI performance scaling.

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 GF106 Video Card @ Benchmark Reviews
NVIDIA recently earned its reputation back with the GF104 Fermi-based GeForce GTX 460; a video card that dominated the price point even before it dropped to $179 USD and completely ruled the middle market. Priced to launch at $129, the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 packs 192 CUDA cores into its 40nm GF106 Fermi GPU and adds 1GB of GDDR5 memory. Benchmark Reviews overclocked our GTS 450 to nearly 1GHz, and even paired them together in SLI. NVIDIA expects their new GTS 450 to compete against the Radeon HD 5730 at 1680x1050, but we learned from GTX 460 there's usually more performance reach than they suggest. Since the price to performance ratio is critical to this entry-level segment, Benchmark Reviews also tests the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1GB against the more-expensive Radeon HD 5770 using several of the most demanding DirectX-11 PC video games available.

Galaxy NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1GB Review - Fermi goes lower, again
The new GeForce GTS 450 1GB graphics card is based on a completely new GF106 GPU that takes the Fermi architecture and pulls it back a bit more to make a lower cost, more efficient unit. Starting at $120 or so, the GTS 450 is the cheapest NVIDIA DX11 part available but how can it compare to the Radeon HD 5770?

NVIDIA Launches GeForce GTS 450, Affordable DX11 Graphics
As its GTS moniker denotes, NVIDIA's new GeForce GTS 450 is targeted at the mainstream market. That card's reference specifications call for a 783MHz GPU clock, with 1566MHz CUDA cores, and 902MHz GDDR5 memory (3608MHz effective data rate). With those frequencies, stock GeFore GTS 450 cards offer 57.7GB/s of memory bandwidth with a 25.1GigaTexel/s textured fillrate. As is typically the case with mainstream NVIDIA GPU's, however, board partners will be releasing cards clocked somewhat higher than the reference specifications recommend.

Along with a $129 (give or take) price tag, the GeForce GTS 450 is certainly more affordable than any other DX11-class GPU out there right now. Whether or not it's worth the asking price remains to be seen, however. So let's dig in and find out what the new GeForce GTS 450 is made of and if it deserves a place in your next system.

NVIDIA’s GeForce GTS 450: Pushing Fermi In To The Mainstream
After the drawn out launch of GF100 and the GTX 400 series earlier this year, NVIDIA has been firing on all cylinders when it comes to the launch of the rest of the Fermi family. In July we saw the launch of the GF104 GPU and the GTX 460 it powers, providing a surprising tweak to the Fermi architecture on what should have been a simple waterfall part, and in the process trampling AMD’s Radeon HD 5830 at the $200 price point. For the first time in over a year we saw an NVIDIA product come out that was hyper-competitive on performance and pricing, the kind of competition we sorely miss.

Now 2 months after that launch we’re going to find out if lightning strikes twice. Today NVIDIA is launching the next desktop video card in the 400 series: GTS 450 Powering it is their new Fermi family GPU – GF106 – the next in the line of successively smaller Fermi GPUs for cheaper products. Targeted directly against AMD’s Radeon HD 5700 series, does it have what it takes to dethrone AMD's mainstream lineup?
