VIA KX 133 is the clear choice for AMD Athlon Processor users, now that everybody are familiar with the low price of AMD Athlon K7 processors, comparing to Pentium III Coppermines, and it´s power. What makes this chipset stand out is it´s AGP x4 support along with the support for PC133 SDRAM.

This boards are now literally everywhere, since that is happened, wide choice is presented before one, from what Manufacturer should you buy the KX133 motherboard for my new Athlon processor? Gigabyte´s GA-7VM might be the choice. Unfortunately this is not for all users as this is a Micro ATX motherboard. Little for expansion this motherboard can do, containing only 3PCI slots and 1 AGP 4x. After all that´s why it´s called micro.
