HiTech Legion has released a new article on the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650Ti Video Card

Many of the advancements in digital imaging, particularly those in the medical field are thanks to the incredible amount of processing power available. Without the constant development of modern graphics cores the many of the medical technologies would not be possible. One of these developments is the Kepler architecture developed by Nvidia. They have managed to improve the power efficiency of their GPUs, while increasing the processing power exponentially. The newest edition to the Nvidia line of GPUs is the GeForce GTX 650Ti series. The GK106 core is used in 650Ti GPU, providing a total of 768 CUDA cores and four SMX units.

The Gigabyte GTX 650Ti OC edition graphics card has 1GB of GDDR5 memory on board. Memory for the GTX 650Ti is clocked at an effective 5400MHz; two 64-bit memory controllers provide a 128-bit bus width. Gigabyte’s 650Ti features a custom cooler using their triangle cool design; it uses a triangle shaped aluminum block and a 100mm fan to remove heat from the GPU. Connectivity options include two Dual-Link DVI ports, one HDMI, and one D-Sub (VGA) connection. The GK106 core is overclocked from the standard 925MHz by 107MHz to 1032MHz for roughly an 11.5% increase in the core clock. Using Ultra Durable 2 technology the GPU is produced with high quality components for extended durability and stability.
