VIAHardware has posted a review on the Inno3D GeForce2 MX PCI. This "inno"vative card is the first of many, built to compete with 3dfx´s ever-popular PCI V3/V4/V5 series cards.



Its interesting how much the PCI MX differs from the standard AGP MX design. The PCI reference closely resembles the original GeForce DDR reference, in fact. Also present is cutouts for additional memory modules on the back side. a 64MB PCI GeForce2 MX in our future? Stranger things have happened. Actually, 64MB would make quite a bit of sense for a PCI board, because of the lack of AGP texturing.
