Acer Predator Z35 35″ 2560×1080 VA 200Hz G-SYNC Monitor Review

The Acer Predator Z35 is a 35-inch curved ultra-widescreen G-Sync display with a VA panel, aimed at gamers looking for ultimate performance. Its standard refresh rate is a tasty 144Hz, but this can be raised all the way to 200Hz, in what is one of the highest refresh rates in a consumer gaming display.

Mushkin Striker 480GB Solid State Drive Review

It has been a while since we had a closer look at Mushkin’s lineup of solid state drives which makes today’s review a little more interesting than just looking at a great perming drive. On the test bench today is the Mushkin Striker 480GB 7mm slim solid state drive and I’ll put it through the usual tests to see how well it performs.

Mushkin built the Striker series with a performance that should satisfy the most demanding users, at least on the SATA3 connection. The Striker is built with Phison’s PS3110-S10 quad-core 8-channel controller which is coupled with quality MLC NAND. Three of the cores are dedicated for flash management and the controller also supports 256-bit AES encryption and Opal 2.0. These things coupled make for a great performing drive and this 480GB model is rated for up to 565 MB/s read and 550MB/s write speeds. The IOPS are rated around 90K for both read and write.

Razer Wildcat Review

Razer have had a presence with the Xbox console for a while, releasing the Onza controller for the Xbox 360 in 2011. The Onza was a well received entry by Razer, yet many felt it was poorly implemented with many complaints about build quality. Since then, Razer have been working away to refine their game pads and have since released various controllers including the Sabertooth for 360, and now the Wildcat for Xbox One. Enthusiast/tournament game pads are now in full swing, the overwhelming popularity of the Xbox Elite controller solidifies this fact, yet some haven't quite found the perfect partner with the Elite controller. Some find it too heavy for prolonged use and others are getting frustrated about the back paddles are too easy to hit, causing mistakes/misclicks in game. These properties are strong blows from Razer, with the Wildcat weighing a mere 260g, and having 2 additional bumper buttons on the top, and two aluminium triggers on the underside.

SilverStone TD03-Slim Liquid CPU Cooler Review

We’ve been on a SilverStone kick lately, covering nearly their entire all in one water cooling line up. So far what has been most impressive is the high quality nature of their coolers. Everything from the hardware that is included, to the fit and finish of the cooler itself, Silverstone knows how to make a highly polished product. Today we’re going to round things out with one final AiO cooler, the TDO3-Slim. This is a 120mm radiator equipped cooler and if you didn’t guess from the name, it’s quite thin. Let’s go ahead and take a look at what we’ve got and see if this cooler belongs in the SilverStone line-up.

Vertagear S-Line SL4000 Gaming Chair Review

Sometimes we face a grueling task while other times we think to ourselves, "boy this will be easy." As many times as we face a task that seems easy — and we tell ourselves that it will be easy — it may end up being difficult, but we still want to assume it will be easy.
