ASRock DeskMini GTX1080 (Intel Z370) SFFPC Review

We have been looking forward to checking out the Z370 DeskMini GTX1080 since December when its existence first came to our attention. While I had reviewed the DeskMini with no MXM card, the addition of the GTX 1080 in such a small form factor is pretty impressive and got me excited. Today we will look at the top dog of ASRock's line up. The DeskMini GTX 1080 is sort of like a barebones system, so it has no CPU, memory, or storage. It does come with a PSU, GTX 1080, WIFI card kit, motherboard, and case. If you Google DeskMini GTX 1080 you will only really see ASRock's older version that used 6th and 7th generation CPUs and a B250 motherboard, but the new one is a different beast. The new DeskMini uses a Z370 motherboard and from what I understand is revamped. Let's see how the new system does!

ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Professional Gaming i7 (Intel Z370) Review

ASRock's Z370 Professional Gaming i7 is their top of the line Z370 motherboard targeting the most demanding power users and gamers. The motherboard features high-quality components through and through, tons of USB 3.1, triple M.2 slots, and on top of everything it has one of the best networking configurations of any Z370 motherboard. You get a 10Gbit NIC, two 1Gbit NICs, and even Wireless AC. The motherboard uses a black, gray, and silver color theme, and should be easy to match depending on your build and color requirements. Let's take a look at ASRock's top of the line Z370 motherboard.

Corsair H115i Pro and H150i Pro RGB review: silence is key

Corsair recently introduced twol new water coolers: the H115i Pro RGB and the H150i Pro RGB. At first glance, these new 280 and 360 mm models look very similar to the existing H150i, but a closer look shows that Corsair has completely redesigned the coolers. The main purpose of this? To achieve the quietest possible operation. And although Corsair doesn't say it outright, they're mainly looking to compete with the popular Kraken X62 water cooler from NZXT.

Thermaltake Core P90 Black Tempered Glass Review - bonkers or brilliant?

It is tricky to describe the Thermaltake Core P90 Tempered Glass as it is unlike any PC case we have ever seen before. That’s a bold statement but a quick glance at our photos and video will confirm we are giving you the genuine low-down as the main part of the chassis is shaped like a giant steel Toblerone. Add four shiny steel poles on each side to support two 5mm thick tempered glass panels and you have a curious structure that can either stand on end using the supplied feet or be laid down ... something like a V-angle car engine. Theoretically you could wall mount this chassis on VESA mounts but that seems like a scary proposition as the weight is significant.

Thermaltake H200 Internal USB Hub Review

Thanks to Thermaltake, we’ll be taking a quick look at their H200 Internal USB Hub. It’s a 3-port USB 2.0 hub that can be mounted internally inside the chassis. It’s powered by a SATA power connector, and features an additional 3 x 9-pin USB headers.

Its low profile size and magnetic mounting means you can quickly and easily install this unit anywhere inside the chassis.

The Thermaltake H200 Internal USB Hub is ideal for modders that require additional USB ports internally … both the A-Type connector and 9-pin USB headers. These are needed for powering up accessories like LEDs, fan controllers, USB devices and receivers, etc.

Western Digital My Passport Wireless SSD Review (2TB)

As a ‘somewhat’ professional photographer, I am pretty sure that my fear of loss of my work is front and center when it comes to those important camera shoots. For most, relying on trust of a single SD or flash card until you can get to a laptop is all too common. Anyone who takes pictures with any frequency can also relate to that feeling of loss, just when you need something most. There is a solution and it landed on our Test Bench not three weeks from its announcement at CES 2018; the Western Digital My Passport Wireless SSD.
