Chris Walsh has released a Windows Phone Support Tool to get broken devices back on track.

From WinRumors:
Walsh, a Windows Phone developer, created a ChevronWP7 updater that allowed phone owners to receive the March 2011 “NoDo” update before it was officially enabled for their carriers. Microsoft originally warned against using the updater and asked Walsh to remove it from his site. Microsoft said the use of ChevronWP7.Updater could possibly put the updated Windows Phone 7 device into a state where it cannot receive future regular updates to the OS anymore, and the only fix will be re-flashing the device with an original stock ROM.
