The company planned to discontinue its NT certification program on Dec. 31, a move that many suggested was part of a plan to boost sales of NT´s successor, Windows 2000. Contending there are thousands of people who want to become NT certified despite the product´s demise, testing specialist Lanop recently announced that it will offer its own NT Certified Independent Professional (NT-CIP) certification.
