HiTech Legion has released a new article on the MSI GeForce GTX 650 Power Edition OC Video Card

Technology companies in particular have been making major strides in using power efficiently. Many monitors are now certified with the energy star certification and then we have power supplies that have the 80 Plus standards. But what about GPUs, NVIDIA has built an energy efficient architecture with Kepler yet there is no certification for them. Granted it would be hard to quantify considering that the amount of processing power a GPU produces is often based on how much energy they consume. The GeForce GTX 650 is based on the GK107 GPU and packs 384 CUDA cores onto the chip. Best of all the TDP is only 64 watts.

Featuring a core clock speed of 1124MHz (66 MHz higher than stock) MSI has released the GeForce GTX 650 Power Edition OC. The MSI GeForce GTX 650 Power edition has 1024MB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 5000MHz and runs on a 128-bit bus. It is targeted at the budget gamer and is designed to offer 1080p gaming to all, while using energy efficiently. MSI has produced the GPU using military class components that meet the MIL-STD-810G standard for increased durability and longevity. The GTX 650 Power Edition includes the ability to performance tune the card further using MSI’s own Afterburner utility. Connectivity is provided through a mini-HDMI port, DVI-D, or DVI-I port allowing the GPU to be connected to just about any display on the market.
