Only recently has there been all copper performance HSFs popping up for the Socket A CPUs...What really brought on this trend of copper HSFs was AMD´s Socket A chips which dish out nearly twice as much watts of heat as a Pentium 3. Serious cooling is definitely needed here! Without indulging into crazy methods of cooling such as using water or peltiers, the majority of us turned to heatsink manufacturers for answers. Sure they put out aluminum and aluminum with copper base heatsinks but that didn´t satiate our need for better cooling. With this step up toward all Copper HSFs, will we finally be satisfied?
