Civilization VI: Rise and Fall Review

It took Civilization V two full expansions to become the classic it's regarded as today. Civilization VI is halfway there. There's lots of new stuff on offer in this expansion, from UI tweaks to new factions, but I'm not here to rattle off bullet points. I'm instead going to be talking about R&F's three main additions, and how they all work together to change the way each game of Civ VI feels.

Corsair H115i Pro Liquid CPU Cooler Review

We recently took a look at the Editor’s Choice award winning H150i PRO from Corsair. The cooler surprised us with improvements on all sides, from performance to aesthetics, it moved Corsair to the next level in all-in-one watercooling systems. While that cooler is certainly the flagship of the line there were revisions to the previous top dog, the H115i, as well. G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM570 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Are you looking for an inexpensive mechanical gaming keyboard with RGB lighting but don’t want to cheap out and go with a brand you’ve never heard of, with a board containing switches of questionable quality? G.SKILL, a Taiwanese manufacturer best known for producing high quality DRAM for the overclocking market, also produces a lineup of keyboards designed with gamers in mind. Today, we’re going to be looking at the G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM570 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, which features genuine Cherry MX mechanical switches. While G.SKILL might not be a brand you immediately think of when it comes to computer peripherals, they are one of the most trusted manufacturers of DRAM in the industry and are known for their stringent QC process. Ripjaws is actually a G.SKILL brand name that they use for their DRAM, so it is interesting to see the company expand that branding to their gaming peripherals.

SiliconDust Quattro (HDHR5-4US) Review

SiliconDust recently upgraded their HDHomeRun (HDHR) CONNECT line of over-the-air (OTA) network tuners to include a $149 MSRP four-stream Quattro (HDHR5-4US) companion for the $99 MSRP two-stream Duo (HDHR5-2US) model. Both models feature 100Mb Ethernet, all new internals, and an attractive form factor. Updated silicon components should bring power savings, so if SiliconDust can also maintain the stability of the older models we will have a solid recipe for success whether you just want an OTA tuner or are looking to cut the cord.
