It was just another day at Comdex, Dave and I were browsing around the booths in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, looking for something interesting and cool. We happened to run by the Seagate booth, more of a double-sided wall with a few RAID arrays showing off some quaint but impressive performance numbers, anyway... I walk toward the closest Seagate rep, but he´s busy chatting with someone else. So I pick up an oversize 3.5" hard drive and start playing with it, digging the Ultra 160 SCSI interface, and the sheer weight of the monster in my hands.Read more
