DreamWare Computers posted a review on the SilverStone ST45SF-G SFX PSU

A few months ago, SilverStone's ST45SF power supply made a candid appearance (and got a mini-review of it's own) in my review of the SilverStone FT03-MINI ITX case. The ST45SF was an SFX power supply that's currently made by SilverStone; but, what makes the ST45SF unique is that it's one of the highest wattage SFX power supplies available on the consumer market. Among a few other features the ST45SF has that a lot of the competition doesn't have is quiet operation, an 80PLUS Bronze certification and a black painted chassis.

With an increase in the amount of ITX boards available on the market and the fact that with modern technology you can now make a pretty powerful gaming machine on nothing more than an ITX board, SilverStone was looking to up the ante with the ST45SF. Recently releasing the ST45SF-G, the ST45SF has now been upgraded to an 80PLUS Gold certification and given modular cables, all in a chassis no bigger than the original ST45SF!

The ST45SF-G could become the "go to" power supply for high performance ITX systems, especially given that there's no competition out there for 80PLUS Gold, modular SFX power supplies. I'm excited to get the ST45SF-G out of the box to see how it will stack up against the original ST45SF, as well as against a high performance ATX form factor 80PLUS Gold power supply too.
