Accordingly, I've also had a troll through the wares of three Australian dealers of cheap flash memory cards, and picked out the good deals and the bad ones. I touch on why flash memory can be a better storage option than, say, a Zip drive, why CompactFlash is generally the best of the memory card flavours, and why the large speed differences between CompactFlash cards probably don't matter at all.
