With the modifications made this cooler has exceeded the expectations I had for it and from what I've seen the Volcano 7 has performed better then in any other review I've seen. I believe that removing the thermal sensor and using Arctic Silver II are 2 necessities for any serious overclocker. I had to double check that the cpu fan was even spinning when I started the pc after installing it. I've used a 60x38mm Delta and 60mm Ys Tech fan lately and the noise was starting to get annoying. I can say that this cooler has done a great job while maintaining an absolutly acceptable sound level!

The Thermaltake Volcano 7 after the needed mods keeps the cpu as cool as any of the best coolers I've used while keeping noise to a minimum. I can now hear over the roar of the cpu fan that I had become accustomed to and I can honestly say I'll be keeping this cooler around for awhile.
