Alienware 13 R3 With GeForce 10 And OLED Eats MacBook Pros For Lunch (Hands-On)

Dell's Alienware division stepped up today with a new, compact and powerful weapon in its laptop arsenal with the announcement of the redesigned Alienware 13 notebook. Now, before you get all misty about the headline, we understand Apple's latest MacBook isn't optimized for gaming, but the comparison of what can be done in a 13-inch notebook frame can still be made. We're just having a little fun with it...

It's built with some of the highest-end notebook components on the market currently, save for perhaps its GPU, which is more of a desktop-class graphics chip, actually. In addition, Alienware's delicious OLED display option returns in to machine with 400 nits of brightness, a QHD 2560X1440 resolution and gobs of saturation and pop.

MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Quick Silver 8G OC review

We review the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Quick Silver 8G (OC edition) armed with 8GB GDDR5 graphics memory. This all new 'Quick Silver' edition is the latest SKU from MSI located in the Gaming series. The graphics card comes with extra LED functionality and the very cool TwinFrozr revision VI cooler in a rather new and unusual color schema. As you guys all know, we've reviewed the MSI Gaming X and Gaming Z editions of their 1070 series as well. Think of the Quick Silver edition as something in-between the X and Z Gaming models. The Quick Silver edition has similar clock speeds compared towards the Gaming X, but is getting the more advanced LED activated back-plate from the Z model. There is however something else quite different, and that obviously is the silver/black design, again for a reason. This year year MSI has been releasing motherboards with a silver / titanium colored coating which they tagged as the Titanium series.

NZXT S340 Elite ATX Case Review

The NZXT S340 Elite computer case expands from the original S340 with its improved cable management system, VR capabilities, and a large tempered glass side panel. Included with the S340 Elite is a magnetic cable management puck to store VR or audio headsets for easy access. A side mounted bracket for a 2.5″ SSD is located on the side of the power supply housing and the tempered glass side panel can show off the internal components. Two new Gigabyte AM4 motherboards spotted

Two new Gigabyte motherboards with the new AM4 socket have been spotted online, showing what to expect from launch later this year.

Originally spotted by Guru3D.com, both new motherboards are most likely based on AMD's B350 chipset although it could also be the entry-level A320. Due to further integration with AMD's upcoming AM4 chips, the southbridge, also known as the FCH, will only add further PCIe lanes and additional SATA and USB ports.
The first pictured motherboard from Gigabyte is based on the micro-ATX form-factor and has a single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, two DDR4-DIMM slots and four SATA 6Gbps ports. It also features standard 5.1-channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet and up to 6 USB 3.0 ports.
