Windows 8 may not be be launched for several months at least but a number of third party app developers are speaking out on making apps for Microsoft's next operating system.

From Neowin:
These developers are making apps using a special pre-beta version of Windows 8 that Microsoft has given them as a kind of reward for making it to the second round of the First Apps Contest. Eight apps will be selected in the final round to be available in the Windows Store feature of Windows 8 when the beta versions launches.

One of the finalists in the app contest is PuzzleTouch, developed by Tim Greenfield. The puzzle game was previously released as a Silverlight based browser game and as a Windows Phone app.
