SIMS 2!! Problem Transfering Files From Media!! PLEASE HELP!

Dudes! Whenever i try and install the sims 2, it gets to about 40% and then an error boz comes up saying: A problem occured when trying to transfer the file: 'TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims10. package' from the media.

Dudes! Whenever i try and install the sims 2, it gets to about 40% and then an error boz comes up saying:
 
"A problem occured when trying to transfer the file:
 
'TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims10.package' from the media.
 
Would You Like To Retry to copy this file or abort the installtion?"
 
Please Help me! What do I do?!?

Maybe try IsoBuster and extract all files from CD/DVD onto HD then install from there.

Most times when I see that kind of issue it is either bad media (as in the cd or dvd) or your system memory is going kaput. If you have two sticks of RAM take one out and if you only have the one stick see if you can borrow one to try out instead of buying one for nothing.

isobuster is a nice tool. but i think when you get to 40% copying it only means there's no problem with the ISO check anymore. ISO is checked during READ process, like after when you insert the CD.
 
my conclusion is: it's a bad media.. checked if your CD is has scratches..
