For some reason I can't click on videos on the net and have them play in windows media player. When I click on a link it launches WMP10 and says:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on a removable storage card, insert the storage card."

It does this for every video file and sites like www.streetfire.net will no longer play the videos either.

I check all the settings and I they look the same. I haven't changed anything in windows media player 10. I even re-downloaded the install file and installed it again.

I also turned off my firewall and nothing changed. Whats going on?

EDIT, fixed.
For some reason under tools -> options -> player, the [ ] connect to the internet check box was unchecked. I never even noticed this option before.
